IT Home reported on May 3 that the Indy Autonomous Challenge (IAC) announced that the event will return to Indianapolis Motor Speedway (IMS) on September 6 this year after three years.
In October 2021, IAC hosted the world's first high-speed autonomous racing race at IMS, and this year's event will feature the IAC AV-24 autonomous driving car jointly developed by IAC and Dalara (note from IT House: 360-degree long-range LiDAR vision system with 4 Luminar iris sensors, Continental ARS540 4D imaging radar).
The competition, which will feature 18 teams from 10 universities in five countries, will be "the world's largest self-driving racing competition."
