IT Home reported on May 3 that AMD held a series of activities to celebrate the company's 55th anniversary, and restored AMD employee photos taken in 1969 through Ryzen AI.
AMD also upscaled a video celebrating AMD's 40th anniversary 14 years ago, and one of the main characters was rival Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang.
AMD has recovered several historical photos of the AMD company through Ryzen AI, the first being a profile photo of AMD's 12th employee, Rich Previte. Previte has been with AMD for 30 years in a variety of roles and even served as AMD's CFO and President for a while. IT Home attaches the following pictures:
AMD also boosted the video celebrating the company's 40th anniversary with Topaz Video AI, with the biggest highlight being Jensen Huang's appearance in the closing credits. In the video, Huang wishes AMD a happy 40th anniversary and thanks AMD for offering him his first job.
Prior to founding NVIDIA, Huang worked at AMD from 1984 to 1985, designing cutting-edge CPUs for the company. His hours were short, and there's no denying that Huang did work at AMD.
