Fire safety is related to the safety of people's lives and property. In order to enhance the fire prevention awareness and emergency response ability of residents in the jurisdiction, recently, the Kangbo Branch of the Qiaojia Community Good Neighbor Center of Daqiao Street held a special fire emergency response training activity. Ding Huitong, the earthquake prevention and disaster reduction ambassador of the Shanghai Earthquake Bureau, was invited to give a lecture on safety knowledge.

At the scene, everyone also learned about the emergency alarm process when necessary, and to stay calm in the face of fire and call the police for help in time. In addition, the professionals also taught the skills of initial fire extinguishing, so that residents can understand how to properly use fire extinguishers and other tools to extinguish initial fires. Aunt Liu, a resident, told reporters, "I only knew the importance of fire extinguishers before, but I didn't know how to use them, and I didn't dare to touch them easily. ”
A fire drill brought the event to a climax, and under the guidance of professionals, residents conducted a simulated fire evacuation drill and experienced the fire emergency response process firsthand. Through the drill, the residents have a deeper understanding of fire emergency response and have mastered more practical skills. Aunt Guo, a resident, said, "Disasters are relentless, and we must apply the knowledge we have learned today to our daily lives, strengthen our awareness of self-prevention, and ensure the safety of ourselves and our families." ”
