Please check the common sense of energy saving

01

Choose an energy-efficient washing machine

Energy-saving washing machines save 50% electricity and 60% more water than ordinary washing machines, and each energy-saving washing machine can save about 3.7 kg of standard coal per year, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 9.4 kg accordingly. If 10% of ordinary washing machines in the country are updated to energy-saving washing machines every year, then about 70,000 tons of standard coal can be saved every year, and 178,000 tons of carbon dioxide can be reduced.

02

Reduce food waste

"Who knows that the food on the plate is hard work", but now the phenomenon of wasting food is still relatively serious. Wasting 0.5 kg of grain (taking rice as an example) can save about 0.18 kg of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 0.47 kg. If the country reduces food waste by 0.5 kg per person per year on average, it can save about 241,000 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 612,000 tons per year.

03

Advocate low-carbon travel

(1) When traveling, when the weather is suitable and the time is abundant, it is advocated to use the "135" travel plan, that is, walking within 1 km, cycling within 3 km, and taking a bus within 5 km, so as to drive less and fuel less.

(2) Cycling or walking instead of driving can save 9 liters of gasoline per 100 kilometers; Instead of self-driving, you can save 7.5 liters of gasoline and travel 200 kilometers according to the above mode, which will reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 36.8 kilograms.

04

Rational use of air conditioning

(1) In summer, the temperature of air conditioning should be increased by 1°C on the basis of national advocacy. If each air conditioner is raised by 1°C on the basis of the 26°C advocated by the state, it can save 22 kWh of electricity per year and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 21 kg.

(2) Use energy-saving air conditioning. An energy-saving air conditioner consumes 0.24 kWh less electricity per hour than an ordinary air conditioner, and according to a conservative estimate of 100 hours of annual use, it can save 24 kWh of electricity and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 23 kg.

(3) Turn off the air conditioner a few minutes before you go out. Turn off the air conditioner 3 minutes before going out, as the temperature in the air-conditioned room does not rise immediately when the air conditioner is turned off. According to a conservative estimate that each unit can save about 5 kWh of electricity per year, the corresponding carbon dioxide emission reduction is 4.8 kg.

05

Appropriate use of televisions

(1) Turn on the TV for half an hour less every day. Turning on less than half an hour a day can save about 20 kWh of electricity per TV per year, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 19.2 kg. If one-tenth of the country's television sets reduce the dispensable boot time by half an hour every day, then the country can save about 700 million kWh of electricity and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 670,000 tons every year.

(2) Turn down the brightness of the TV screen. Setting the TV screen to medium brightness not only achieves the most comfortable visual effect, but also saves electricity, saving about 5.5 kWh of electricity per TV per year, and reducing CO2 emissions by 5.3 kg accordingly.

06

Use the refrigerator to save energy

(1) Choose energy-saving refrigerators. One energy-saving refrigerator can save about 100 kWh of electricity per year compared to ordinary refrigerators, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 100 kg.

(2) Use the refrigerator reasonably. Reducing the refrigerator opening time by 3 minutes per day can save 30 kWh of electricity in 1 year, and correspondingly reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 30 kg; Defrosting the refrigerator in time can save 184 kWh of electricity per year, and correspondingly reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 177 kg.

07

Turn off the power of the appliance at the right time

(1) Power off the water dispenser when not in use. According to statistics, the water dispenser is really used for about 9 hours a day, and the rest of the time is basically idle, and nearly two-thirds of the electricity consumption is wasted.

(2) Unplug household appliances in time. Household appliances such as televisions, washing machines, microwave ovens, and air conditioners are still consuming electricity in standby mode. If 390 million households across the country unplug after using electricity, it can save about 2.03 billion kWh of electricity every year, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 1.97 million tons.

08

Actively participate in tree planting for all

One tree can absorb 18.3 kg of carbon dioxide in one year, which is equivalent to reducing the emission of the same amount of carbon dioxide. If 390 million households in the country planted one tree every year, it would absorb an additional 7.34 million tons of carbon dioxide every year.

Adhere to green and low-carbon living habits

Start from us, start from life

Let green become the background color of life

Let low carbon become a habit of life
