Before the trial, the presiding judge Zhu Xuehua introduced the setting of the trial seat and the trial process to the students in easy-to-understand language. In accordance with the procedures, the presiding judge organized the parties on both sides to present evidence, debate evidence, and debate in court, and the trial process was standardized, rigorous, and orderly. Under the auspices of the presiding judge, the "trial scene" was transformed into a "law study class" in seconds, and the teachers and students who were observing the trial paid close attention to every aspect of the trial, striving to integrate what they had learned from books with what they had learned in practice.

"If a party files a counterclaim in a lawsuit, does it need to be dealt with together?"

"Why do you have to do post-trial mediation after the trial is completed?"

"What is the nature of the receipt in the case?"

"How do you divide the responsibility for students who are harmed on campus?"

......

After the adjournment, one after another questions came one after another, and Judge Zhu Xuehua answered them one by one, and drew inferences from one another, guiding the students to think deeply about the legal knowledge points involved in the case.

The teaching method of observing the trial enables students to learn the law more vividly and intuitively, and the vivid cases effectively promote the combination of judicial practice and legal education.

"Today's court public open day activity is very meaningful, allowing students to understand the court from zero distance, feel the majesty of the law and the seriousness of the trial, and further improve the students' legal thinking and practical ability through explaining the law and learning the law by case at the trial scene." The leading teacher affirmed and praised the event.

In recent years, the Zhoukou Intermediate People's Court has extended its adjudication functions, attaching importance to exchanges and cooperation with colleges and universities, and has allowed the majority of young people in the city to receive legal education "zero distance" by holding public open days to invite primary and secondary school students to enter the court to observe court trials, organizing and carrying out law delivery to campuses, and guiding the development of "mock court" activities. In the next step, the Zhoukou Intermediate People's Court will continue to increase the publicity of the law, innovate the way of legal publicity, combine "going out" and "inviting in", continuously improve the legal awareness and self-protection awareness of the majority of young people, and create a good atmosphere of knowing the law and abiding by the law.
