At this point, all of Daqi's life is basically caught in a dead cycle of making plans, implementing plans, failing plans, provoking new enemies, and fleeing gangs.
Repeated failures and Dachi's own obsession slowly destroyed the trust of many gang members in Dachi, and after Dachi returned from Guamma Island, the gang no longer had the fighting spirit it had before, and became dead.
At the end of the story, the entire gang finally falls apart, and while the gang is stationed in the Beaver Cave, Agent Pinkerton eventually finds the gang's hiding place due to the betrayal of the traitors. Coupled with the intensification of rifts within the gang, the Van der Linde Gang finally collapsed in this conflict. Arthur, Susan Grimshaw, and others died in the conflict. Character analysis
The world That Dachy desires is a world in which hunting and gathering are integrated, and he opposes science and technology and government control of the world. Throughout his life, Dach fought the government, trying to recruit for his gang and take control of the town in one fell swoop, because he believed that the city was the government and the foothold of science.
Dutch wants people to return to the Old West, which he believes promotes survival, discipline and helps people use their skills and courage to overcome difficulties. But Dutch also wanted people to remain civilized, not the barbarians they used to look like. When the government vigorously promoted clothing and technology, Dutch did not veto it outright.
Mr. Dutch is a ruthless killer who kills innocent people and government workers, and Mr. Dutch sees this as an effective means of combating government corruption. Despite the brutality of his methods, Duach, as an educated criminal, unlike most criminals, committed crimes in his early days more out of idealism than greed.
Ironically, despite Dutch's opposition to government ideals, Dutch himself has a slight fascist and authoritarian approach to gang management.
