Since last year, under the guidance of the District Housing Management Bureau and with the support of Bansongyuan Road Street, Yueji Apartment has begun to carry out the planning of the beautification of the public area and the construction of the "zero distance home" station. Under the leadership of the property committee, in March this year, according to the suggestions of the residents of the community, after more than 20 days of transformation, the idle land where the "zombie cars" were stacked in the community became three high-value "zero-distance home" stations, and the residents gained a full sense of happiness.
Rejuvenate the old and create a "zero-distance home"
"It used to be a mess, and it was not easy to get in and out. Now after the renovation, the space is spacious and refreshing. Bian Xiuying, a 92-year-old resident, said. Built in the 90s, the Yue Ji apartment has many common problems of old neighborhoods: few public spaces and old infrastructure. The micro-renewal of the community has improved the infrastructure, added public space, and more residents are willing to go out of their homes to rest, chat, and exercise downstairs.
Before, there were many "zombie cars" stacked on more than ten square meters of idle land downstairs, which was not only unsightly, but also a waste of space. Under the collective management of the Owners Committee and residents, these idle spaces were transformed into three functional areas and set up as "Zero Distance Home" stations, namely Dream Green World, Yue Ji "Home" Age, and Mario Paradise.
In the "Dream Green World", there are many pothos on the flower stands one by one. The Owners' Committee has designed and built a rainwater harvesting system to collect rainwater together. A watering platform has also been set up so that residents can use the collected rainwater for watering. Subsequently, the Owners Committee will also convene residents who like to grow flowers and grass to form a volunteer team to maintain the green corner.
In addition to the green corner, there is also a leisure corner. In the happy "home" years, open up a place for residents to interact and communicate, the green lawn not only has seats, tables, mobile phone wireless charging equipment, but also placed many residents voluntarily donated toys, adding childlike color to the community, but also improving the quality of life of residents, at the door of the experience of "carnival" happiness.
At Mario Land, the Owners Committee has designed a set of solar-powered gaming equipment. A variety of mini-games such as the "Man-eating Flower" carousel, the fun rollerball maze, and the "Flag Raising" make the children have a lot of fun. Every day after school, it becomes a playground for children. Mario Land is also a living example of the "child-friendly" philosophy.
Work together to build happiness and discipline
At the same time, some "hard bones" have also been solved in the construction of small stations. The Owners Committee renovated the parking shed in the community and added 10 sets of non-motor vehicle charging piles to protect the rights and interests of residents, reduce potential safety hazards, and allow the cleaned "zombie cars" to be parked in the carport in an orderly manner. In the "home" years of Yueji, the wall has been completely refreshed. "There used to be a lot of leaks here, and there were leaks all over the floor. During the renovation process, we repaired and decorated the pipes, so that they don't leak even when it rains. Sun Xudong, a member of the industry committee, said. The Owners Committee used discarded wooden planks to cover the original drainage pipes, and found discarded green leaves to decorate them, and the drainage pipes were transformed into "tree trunks", which not only beautified the environment, but also solved the problem of perennial leakage of drainage pipes.
It is worth mentioning that many of the materials used in the "Zero Distance Home" station are waste reuse. Only a small amount of the community's public revenue will be used for the overall construction, and the rest of the expenses will be raised by the members of the property committee and the individual residents and owners. For example, the lawn in the "home" of Yue Ji was discarded from other activities, the wooden planks under the lawn were construction waste from the renovation of residents' homes, and the toys on the lawn were donated by residents. The "Kid-friendly, embrace the future" slogan light box in Mario Land was moved after other activities, and many of the lights in the station are solar-powered lights, which are green, safe and efficient.
The micro-transformation of small incisions gives new vitality to the old community and highlights the people's livelihood.
