The 3rd Corps entered Korea to fight, and Wu Xiaomin served as an adviser in the 35th Division of the 12th Army.
The commander of the 35th Division was named Li Desheng. Wu Xiaomin and Li Desheng are both founding major generals of the Second Field Army, both belong to the Shaozhuang faction, and he is 5 years younger than Li Desheng. They had fought together many times, and now they had crossed the Yalu River together to fight for the country.
On the Korean battlefield, Wu Xiaomin and Li Desheng were hit by heavy bombs by the US military in a command post, and they both survived great hardships, and they were fatal friendships.
After returning to China, Wu Xiaomin served as the commander of the 37th Division. He received the rank of major general later than Li Desheng, and was promoted to major general in 1964, but like Li Desheng, he was also the founding major general. Li Desheng's wife Cao Yunlian is a native of Yushe, Shanxi, and Li Desheng is the son-in-law of Shanxi, and he is also half of Shanxi. He deliberately climbed his fellow countrymen with Wu Xiaomin, but in fact, he had good intentions and was to protect him.
With Li Desheng's protection, Wu Xiaomin suffered a lot less. The task force investigated his history, and except for his military exploits, he was not punished, nor was he captured. Although Wu Xiaomin's background was not very good, he was born in a merchant family and had no worries about food and clothing since he was a child, but he left home at the age of 16 to participate in the revolution.
Investigating politics, Wu Xiaomin has been reused, and he can pass every movement. Checking the economy, Wu Xiaomin never took advantage of the public, and he was not allowed to set up a banquet to welcome and send him off wherever he went, and he always had a bowl of hand-rolled noodles.
