On May 1, the 2024 Jinshui District Youth Full Contact Karate Invitational Tournament (Glory Jizhen Restart Battle) was held at the World Kung Fu Art Center.
The competition is sponsored by the Zhengzhou Jinshui District Culture, Tourism and Sports Bureau, Zhengzhou Jinshui District Wuxue Sports Training Co., Ltd., with men's and women's individual kumite, individual, team and other events, of which the men's individual kumite has 12 kg class, and the women's individual kumite has 11 kg class. A total of nearly 200 karate players from 12 teams inside and outside the province gathered together to compete and show the strength and demeanor of karate reserve talents.
It is understood that this competition is implemented with reference to the 2023 Chinese Karate Association Full Contact Karate Competition Regulations, which has attracted many small champions of the 2023 National Full Contact Karate Championship.
The purpose of this competition is to thoroughly implement the strategic deployment of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on promoting the construction of a sports power, highlight the important role of sports in the construction of a national central city, and actively build the brand of Jinshui martial arts events by relying on the advantages of sports resources in Jinshui District. Through the holding of the event, it will build a platform for the majority of young karate enthusiasts inside and outside the province to learn and communicate, learn and improve, and show their demeanor, further promote the promotion and popularization of karate projects in the mainland, and discover outstanding karate reserve talents, so as to send more high-quality young karate players to the mainland in the future.
