On April 28, 2024, on the Lushan bridge group of the Changjiu high-speed railway, the construction personnel were carrying out the construction work in an intense and orderly manner. Sunlight shines on the bridge and the sparks of welding make for a spectacular construction picture. With the completion of the last erection of the steel cap girder of the No. 13 pier of the Changjiu Intercity Bridge on the Lushan upward liaison line of the Changjiu high-speed railway, the construction tasks of the CJZQ-1 standard steel cap girder of the Changjiu high-speed railway have been successfully completed.
Since the erection began on December 11, 2023, the construction unit has overcome many difficulties, made full use of the "skylight point" where there is no train running on the existing railway line, and adopted the method of II. blockade construction to complete the erection of the steel cap beam in multiple blockade points. In this process, it crosses many existing lines, such as the uplink and downlink main line of the Wujiu passenger train, the southwestern downlink liaison line of Wuhan-Kowloon, and the uplink and downlink line of Changjiu intercity, which is difficult to organize, strict in technical requirements and high in safety risk. However, with exquisite technology and rigorous attitude, the construction personnel ensured the smooth completion of each erection task.
As an important part of the Beijing-Hong Kong-Taiwan corridor, one of the main corridors of the national "eight vertical and eight horizontal" high-speed railway, the Changjiu high-speed railway is of key significance for opening up the high-speed rail corridor with a north-south speed of 350 kilometers per hour in Jiangxi Province. The completion of this important section will greatly improve the transportation convenience and accessibility of Jiangxi Province and the surrounding areas, and will have a far-reaching impact on promoting regional economic development and strengthening inter-regional exchanges and cooperation. At the same time, the construction of the Changjiu high-speed railway will also provide passengers with a faster and more comfortable travel experience, and inject new vitality into the development of tourism in Jiangxi Province.
