——The "Create a Clear Network Environment" propaganda activity entered Chengnan Experimental Primary School
In order to further strengthen the construction of Internet content and create a clean and upright cyberspace, on April 29, Jiang Weiping, a police officer from the Chengdong Police Station of the Hai'an Municipal Public Security Bureau, came to the main campus of Chengnan Experimental Primary School to give a lecture on the theme of "Say 'No' to Internet Rumors" for some teachers and students, which was warmly welcomed by the participating teachers and students.
Officer Jiang gave a briefing on five typical cases of public security organs cracking down on Internet rumors that were recently investigated and dealt with in accordance with the law in Nantong, and explained in detail the characteristics of Internet rumors, such as strong concealment, wide influence, and strong demagogy, as well as simple and practical skills for identifying and recognizing rumors; Officer Jiang stressed that cyberspace is not a place outside the law, and everyone should abide by laws and regulations on the Internet; and Officer Jiang expressed the hope that everyone will stick to the bottom line of freedom of speech and sing the strongest voice on the Internet in the information age that "everyone has a microphone."
The children listened carefully to Officer Jiang's preaching, and they all said that they would actively resist Internet rumors from ordinary times, become "immunizers" of Internet rumors, and jointly create a clear and healthy Internet environment.
This lecture enabled teachers and students to have a deeper understanding of the harmfulness and seriousness of online rumors, and further improved everyone's awareness and ability to prevent and resist online rumors. In the next step, our school will continue to carry out publicity activities to rectify online rumors, guide all teachers and students to consciously resist online rumors, abide by the law, and jointly create a healthy and harmonious online environment!
