Research and application progress of phase change heat storage materials for energy conservation and carbon reduction

Phase change heat storage is a kind of heat storage technology with relatively mature development, simple process and high heat storage density, and its basic constant temperature heat storage and release process can reduce the loss of energy taste, and has broad application prospects. Focusing on the key materials involved in phase change heat storage technology, the advantages and disadvantages of various types of phase change materials under different application conditions are introduced, and the applications of phase change heat storage materials in waste heat recovery and utilization, solar thermal conversion and storage, energy storage battery thermal management, building heat storage and other aspects are reviewed, and the research progress of phase change heat storage materials in reducing leakage in phase change process, improving thermal conductivity, reducing supercooling degree and corrosion effects is summarized. In view of the fact that thermal storage materials help to achieve the social development goals of saving energy and reducing carbon emissions, it is necessary to continue to carry out the research and development of thermal storage materials and continuously improve the comprehensive performance of thermal storage materials.
