Recently, the Jiangxi Provincial Medical Security Bureau has successively issued two notices on the implementation of volume procurement, involving two major alliances: the centralized procurement of general interventional and neurosurgical medical consumables by the inter-provincial alliance, and the centralized procurement of medical consumables by the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei "3+N" alliance laparoscopic cutting kiss/stapler.
The results of the two major centralized procurement will be implemented from May 1, 2024, and the price reduction will be implemented in the province!
01 Execution time
The procurement period is one year from May 1, 2024 to April 30, 2025.
02 Scope of execution
The province purchases and uses medical consumables such as laparoscopic cutting kiss/stapler medical consumables at all levels and military medical institutions stationed in Jiangxi, and encourages other medical institutions to actively participate.

As early as last month, a large number of consumables in Jiangxi Province have been significantly reduced in price.
On March 18, the "Announcement of the Winning Results of the Centralized Procurement of Low-value Medical Consumables Municipal Alliance" and the "Announcement of the Winning Results of the Centralized Procurement of Low-value Medical Consumables Public Medical Institutions Alliance" were issued together.
These two volume purchases were led by the Jiujiang Medical Insurance Bureau and the First People's Hospital of Jiujiang City, but the same thing is that they fully cover the public medical institutions (including military medical institutions) in Jiangxi Province, and the procurement cycle is 24 months, which can be extended by 12 months according to the actual situation after expiration.

The results of the selection show that 86 companies won 2.52 million purchases of 3 types of consumables, including surgical films, disposable sputum suction tubes, and disposable nebulizers, including Weigao, Huoren, Wenwen, Yadu, etc.
35 companies won 9.15 million purchases of 3 types of consumables such as blood glucose test strips, insulin pen syringes, and insulin pen needles, including Roche Diagnostics, B. Braun, Eli Lilly, Weigao, Yuyue, Ulite, etc.

A number of categories are now amazing "floor prices"
In terms of decline, according to the disclosure of the Jiujiang Medical Insurance Bureau, a total of 358 products of 3 varieties, including surgical films, disposable sputum suction tubes, and disposable nebulizers, completed online quotations, and the average decline of the selected products was about 69.89%.
Blood glucose test strips, insulin pen syringes, insulin pen needles, a total of 101 products of 3 varieties have completed online quotations, with an average reduction of about 71.83% for the selected products, and an annual saving of about 7,900 yuan in procurement funds.
Although the official disclosure data does not clearly point out what the maximum reduction is, the previous quotation rules directly require that the declared price must not be higher
Previously, many types of consumables have been included in centralized procurement in other regions and achieved ultra-high reductions. Taking disposable nebulizers as an example, the average decrease in the first batch of centralized procurement of general medical consumables in Anhui Province at the end of 22 years was 84.77%, and the highest decrease was 98.77%.
Therefore, this centralized procurement is really a second price reduction based on the results of previous bargaining.
Not only local enterprises, but also foreign leading enterprises such as Roche and B. Braun are actively participating in it and striving for market share through price reductions. Judging from the announced selection information, the prices of many categories are surprisingly low.
The lowest winning price of surgical film is only 0.0022 yuan, from 3L;
The lowest winning price of the disposable sputum suction tube is only 0.75 yuan, which comes from Huaguan Technology;
The lowest winning price of the disposable nebulizer is only 2.95 yuan, which comes from Ganlong Pharmaceutical;
The lowest winning price of blood glucose test strips is only 0.4 yuan, which comes from Yicheng Biotechnology;
The lowest winning price of insulin pen syringe is 158 yuan, from Dongbao Pharmaceutical;
The lowest winning price of insulin pen needles is only 0.36 yuan, which comes from Puang Medical.
