At more than 10 o'clock in the morning of the 29th, the spring rain continued, and the Tiantongyuan Ecological Leisure Park, located between Beiqijia Town and Tiantongyuan North Street, was lush with green trees, basketball courts and garden roads were basically formed, and 60% of the total project volume had been completed. Cui Chao, a staff member of the Huitian Regional Park Green Space Management Center, said that the project is expected to be completed by the end of September and opened to the public in October, and will add nearly 39 hectares of green space after completion, greatly improving the per capita green space index in the Huitian area. Cui Chao said that the park was mainly built under the original forest, and according to local conditions, there were three basketball courts, two badminton courts, two fitness venues and a multi-functional activity venue during the same period. In addition, a 1.1-kilometer plastic running track, children's activity plaza, fitness plaza and so on will be built. The park is planted with more than 80,000 square meters of ground cover and more than 2,000 trees and shrubs. There are about 100,000 people in the one-kilometer service radius of the park, and there is a Dongsanqi community on the north side, with about 1~20,000 people.

At the site of the second phase of the expansion project of Huilongguan Campus of Beijing Jishuitan Hospital, workers are decorating and installing mechanical and electrical equipment, and the completion rate of the outdoor project has reached 50%. Jiang Xieyuan, deputy secretary of the Party Committee and president of Jishuitan Hospital, said that the project is close to Yuzhi Road Station of Metro Line 8 and has a number of bus lines. "In the future, this hospital will be the main campus of Jishuitan Hospital, and the number of beds will be increased by at least 500 beds, which will greatly alleviate the problem of patients' difficulty in hospitalization. Jiang Xieyuan said that the construction of the National Orthopedic Medical Center of Jishuitan Hospital and the construction of the National Emergency Medical Rescue Base will be implemented in this hospital. The hospital is scheduled to be completed and put into trial operation by the end of the year, and after the completion of the second phase, there will be about 1,300 parking spaces in the entire hospital.

In 2024, the governance theme of the Huitian region's development work will be upgraded from "curing big city diseases" to "seeking high-quality development". Guo Xiaolong, head of the comprehensive planning team of the Huitian special class in Changping District, said that he will continue to make efforts in six aspects, including improving public service capacity, improving the efficiency of transportation and municipal infrastructure, and improving the quality of human settlements. A total of 192 key projects have been implemented in the Huitian Action Plan, covering nine major areas, including transportation, medical care, elderly care, culture, sports and greening, social management, municipal infrastructure, and urban renewal. So far, 146 projects have been completed and put into use, and 46 projects have been continuously promoted. In terms of transportation, it has opened up Lincui Road, the northern suburbs of the farm bridge and other breakpoints, opened the city's first bicycle road, the northern section of Line 17 was officially put into operation, the reconstruction and construction of 22.3 kilometers of road mileage, increased the green area of 4.96 million square meters, and effectively made up for the shortcomings of municipal facilities and public services in the Huitian area.
