Subsequently, Zhao Zenglian, deputy director of the General Administration of Customs of the mainland, also announced after talks with Fu Laiqing that he would resume the import of agricultural and fishery products such as Wendan pomelo from Taiwan to the mainland. You must know that in the past few years, Hualien's Wendan pomelo sold to the mainland accounted for 90% of the whole, and now the mainland has resumed the import of Wendan pomelo and other products, which is undoubtedly an exciting good news for Hualien.
Not only that, on the same day, Rao Quan, vice minister of culture and tourism of the mainland, also announced that he would take the lead in resuming tourism from Fujian to Matsu, and would also resume direct sea passenger flights from Pingtan in Fujian to Taiwan, so as to promote the recovery of tourism between the two places.
