As Shanghai enters the stage of severe aging, the government, enterprises and individuals are actively exploring solutions to the increasingly severe pension problem.
On the afternoon of April 28, the third session of the "Jincai Afternoon Tea" series of activities, which was provided by the Shanghai Financial Work Party Committee under the professional guidance of the Shanghai Financial Work Party Committee, hosted by the Shanghai Financial Technology Industry Alliance, undertaken by the Shanghai Haichuang Park Entrepreneurship Service Center, and co-organized by Nanjing East Road Street, was held in the "Eyes of the Suhe River" zero-distance home comprehensive service body. With "Pension Services and Pension Finance" as the core topic, the participants discussed how to build an efficient and sustainable pension system and discussed the key role of finance in it.
"Jincai Afternoon Tea" is a communication platform created by the Shanghai Fintech Industry Alliance for more than 700 "Shanghai Jincai" in the city under the guidance of the Shanghai Financial Work Party Committee. The event aims to provide more opportunities for cooperation and development for Jincai through regular exchange services and close cooperation with various industry alliances, and at the same time encourage them to give full play to their own advantages, serve the country and the real economy, and contribute wisdom and strength to Shanghai's construction of an international financial center and a science and technology innovation center.
The event attracted more than 30 outstanding guests from the Shanghai Financial Work Party Committee, Shanghai Fintech Industry Alliance, Shanghai Haichuang Park Entrepreneurship Service Center, Nanjing East Road Sub-district of Huangpu District, as well as overseas Jincai, leading Jincai and young Jincai.
After the start of the event, the guests first visited the "Eyes of the Suhe River" zero-distance home comprehensive service body, and had an intuitive and in-depth understanding of the aging living environment and supporting facilities created by the community for the elderly. In the panel discussion, Ge Yiming, Director of the Community Service Office of Nanjing East Road Sub-district, shared the challenges and coping strategies of the sub-district in community elderly care services. Mr. Yu Yang, founder of Pre-Yuan Technology (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., made an in-depth analysis of the current situation of the international pension market, and discussed how technology can help the development of the domestic pension wealth market with the three-pillar pension system in the United Kingdom as an example. Mr. Li Ye, Director of Wealth Management of Aon Corporate Services (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., elaborated on the challenges of an ageing society and the importance of basic pensions, and emphasized the need for a reasonable retirement plan. Mr. Liu Zhuozhi, Director of Portfolio Management of Russell Investment Management (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., explained the long-term source of funds for pensions and the internal logic of equity asset allocation. In the free exchange session, the atmosphere was warm, and the guests of Jincai spoke actively, providing valuable insights for research and innovation in the field of ageing finance.
