German man fined 1,000 baht for driving SUV to Phuket beach!

According to Thai media news, on April 29, a German man drove his Ford Everest SUV registered in Bangkok to Ley Phang Beach in Phuket and fell into the mud and sand. According to information circulating on social media, the police seized the vehicle and fined the man 1,000 baht.

When the local police arrived at the scene, they found that the vehicle was far away from the sea, and there were very obvious marks on the sand, indicating that the vehicle had tried to drive there from the shore. Despite the man's obvious violations, the police statement on the matter did not unravel the mystery as to how the car was parked in the said area.

At the same time, police also found an old Toyota Corolla GXI at the scene with its front wheels sunk deep in the sand. Police did not elaborate on any actions taken against the car other than removing it from the beach area. According to nearby construction workers who witnessed the incident, the two cars were driven to the beach by a Thai man, and the Ford that came in the back was designed to help the Toyota get out of trouble.

Not only that, but extinguished bonfires were also found in the bushes near the incident, suggesting that someone may have held a gathering here. Despite this, Phuket media also reported more details about the matter. It is also understood that earlier this month, an expatriate was accused of ignoring the warnings of local people and vendors for driving to a local beach, and on April 1, a Thai man shared a video of a Toyota driving on Kamala Beach on Facebook.
