From conceptual prototype to industrial practice
Computing power network is the core element of new quality productivity, an important foundation to support the development of the digital economy, and has become a new focus of scientific and technological competition.
Gao Tongqing introduced that three years ago, China Mobile originally put forward a new concept of "computing network", and planned the implementation path of "computing network 1.0 - ubiquitous collaboration, 2.0 - integration and unification, and 3.0 - one endogenous generation", focusing on infrastructure construction, business integration and innovation and cutting-edge technology to lead the three main lines, and systematically comprehensively promote the computing network from conceptual prototype to industrial practice.
The first is to deepen multi-factor integration and consolidate the layout of infrastructure. China Mobile has improved the "4+N+31+X" data center capability layout, planned the layout of the "N+X" intelligent computing center, combined with 1,500 edge computing nodes, and built inference computing power based on AI applications, covering all hub nodes of the country's "Eastern Data and Western Computing", with a general computing scale of 8EFLOPS and an intelligent computing scale of 10.1EFLOPS. It has built a three-level latency circle of 20 milliseconds in the country, 5 milliseconds in the province, and 1 millisecond in prefectures and cities, systematically promoted the integration and innovation of general computing, intelligent computing, supercomputing, and quantum computing, and built a super-large-scale single intelligent computing center, which was connected to the grid with more than 10 intelligent computing, supercomputing, and overseas cloud service providers.
The second is to promote the empowerment of computing network applications and stimulate the momentum of industrial development. Taking mobile cloud as an important form of computing network services, its revenue will exceed 80 billion yuan in 2023, an increase of 40 times in four years, and it is moving from the first camp in China to a first-class cloud service provider in China.
The third is to strengthen technology leadership and build a broad consensus in the industry. It has laid out ten major technical directions and more than 30 key technology research and development, covering various fields in the short, medium and long term; led more than 100 projects of domestic and foreign standards organizations, led the establishment of the "Computing Power Routing" working group in the International Internet Engineering Task Force IETF, and won international consensus with its original technical concepts; built a computing network test network, brought together more than 30 partners, jointly built scientific devices with Pengcheng Laboratory and the Chinese Academy of Sciences, and released more than 40 computing network innovation cases.

The second is to build a new type of ecological relationship and be a good leader. Driven by the vigorous application of artificial intelligence and other technologies, the cloud computing industry has entered the "era of intelligent computing network", and the ecology should also keep pace with the times, integrate into this new industrial background, and comprehensively renew the ecological connotation to fit the ecological concept and ecological strategy of the characteristics of intelligent computing network. The mobile cloud will work with computing partners to connect supply and demand, improve computing efficiency, embrace channel partners, jointly promote computing power distribution, and work with industry partners to implement scenarios and achieve a win-win situation with all parties in the industry.
The third is to strengthen the empowerment of the computing network and be a good contributor. This year's government work report pointed out that it is necessary to "accelerate the formation of a national integrated computing power system". China Mobile will do a good job in the supply of computing network integration capabilities, share computing resources with all parties in the industry, continue to optimize the layout of computing network infrastructure, and plan to achieve a general computing scale of 9EFLOPS and an intelligent computing scale of more than 17EFLOPS by the end of 2024; Inclusive, to create a number of leading technology, excellent service capabilities of the application demonstration.
