Mr. Yu Baocai resigned as President of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (hereinafter referred to as "Sinopec"), and the Board of Directors of the Company appointed Mr. Zhao Dong as President of Sinopec, and Mr. Wan Tao and Mr. Yu Baocai as Senior Vice Presidents of Sinopec.
On April 29, Sinopec announced that Mr. Yu Baocai resigned as president of Sinopec due to work reasons. Mr. Zhao Dong was appointed by the Board of Directors as the President of Sinopec and re-designated as an Executive Director for a period of time from the date of approval by the Board of Directors to the expiration of the term of office of the eighth session of the Board.
In addition, in accordance with the provisions of the Articles of Association and nominated by the President, the Board of Directors appointed Mr. Wan Tao and Mr. Yu Baocai as Senior Vice Presidents of Sinopec for a period of time from the date of approval by the Board of Directors to the expiration of the term of office of the eighth session of the Board of Directors.
