HMD Global, the company that holds the Nokia mobile phone license, recently launched the first batch of its own branded smartphones, including HMD Pulse, HMD Pulse+ and HMD Pulse Pro. However, according to CNMO, the new phone was overturned after its release, and the mobile phone frame in its promotional image was considered to mislead consumers. In this regard, HMD officially apologized and modified the picture as soon as possible.

Users of the first batch of HMD-branded phones noticed that there was a noticeable difference between the official promotional image showing the ultra-narrow bezels of the Pulse and Pulse+ phones, while the lower bezels of the real phones were wide. Some users have questioned on social media: ask a simple question, why are you scamming your potential users?

The CNMO has learned that HMD has apologized and updated its website, which has now changed the exact renderings. Lars Silberbauer, chief marketing officer of HMD Global, has released a statement to address the issue. Lars regretted this and claimed that the company had no intention of misrepresenting the device and assured that the official website now accurately shows what the phone really looks like. In terms of specific configurations, the three new HMD phones are equipped with UNISOC T606 processor, 6.65-inch display and 5000mAh battery. The main difference between them is the camera specifications, in addition, the Pulse Pro supports faster 10W charging compared to the 20W charging of other models.
