Recently, the International High School of Jiangning Branch of the High School Affiliated to Nanjing Normal University held a grand award ceremony for the "Star of National High School" Principal Scholarship in the second semester of the 2023-2024 academic year. Huang Wei, Vice Principal of the School and Principal of the International High School, Cheng Zhongyu, Vice Principal and Director of the Administrative Service Center, Liu Chengping, Vice Principal of the International High School, Zhu Rong, Deputy Director of the International High School, and some middle-level leaders of the school attended the event.

The ceremony kicked off with the melodious singing of "The Brightest Star in the Night Sky", and all teachers and students stood solemnly and sang the national anthem.

At the ceremony, Huang Wei, the principal of International High School, delivered a speech, emphasizing the importance of the selection of national high school stars, praising the outstanding achievements of the award-winning students, and expressing good expectations for the future development of all students.

Presentation of awards to the first year of high school

Yi Yan, deputy director of the Student Development Center, read out the commendation decision of the "Star of National High School" Principal Scholarship in the first year of high school, and the school leaders presented awards to the students who won the first, second and third prizes respectively. Li Peixuan spoke as the representative of the award, she shared her own learning methods and attitudes, and encouraged everyone to combine interest and learning, lay a solid foundation, and continue to make progress.

Senior sophomore awards

Subsequently, the song "Rice Fragrance" brought by Zhang Weicheng and Zheng Bowen of the second-year Sino-Australian class pushed the atmosphere to a climax. After the performance, Gao Bo, deputy director of the school affairs department, read out the commendation decision of the "National High School Star" senior sophomore principal scholarship. The school leaders presented awards to the winning students, and Lin Chenhao delivered a speech as the representative of the award-winning students in the second year of high school.

Closing the event

At the end of the ceremony, Vice President Liu Chengping explained the points reward scheme of the new semester scholarship, encouraging students to diversify their development, pursue their personal strengths, and clarify their goals. Finally, all teachers and students stood up and sang the school song in unison, and the ceremony ended successfully with the high school song.
