In 2015, Dong Jianqing decided to transfer his cattle farm in Hubei, returned to his hometown to start a business, and established a family farm in Chongzhou City, focusing on cross-breeding of beef cattle and sales of calves. With the dual blessing of entrepreneurial experience and supporting policies, Dong Jianqing's cattle industry has developed rapidly.
She actively signed scientific and technological cooperation agreements with Sichuan Agricultural University, Chengdu Academy of Agriculture and Forestry Sciences and other scientific research institutions to carry out the utilization and industrialization demonstration and promotion of beef cattle heterosis, and devoted herself to finding low-consumption and high-efficiency breeding technology for beef cattle, and finally realized the annual feeding cost of cows reduced by 1,000 yuan, the cost of commercial beef cattle feed reduced by 20 yuan/ton, and the annual sales income of the farm reached 5.15 million yuan.

With the tenacity of daring to break through and dare to work, Dong Jianqing has worked hard for three years to optimize the beef cattle breeding technology, and obtained a number of patents related to forage sowing, watering and harvesting, reducing labor costs, improving forage planting technology, and increasing forage yield and harvesting efficiency.
Many people came to learn from her, and she also passed on her experience without reservation. With the support of the government, she established the Chongzhou Beef Cattle Breeding Association, which has developed more than 60 members and successfully led 12 farmers to get rid of poverty and become rich. On the eve of this year's "May Day", Dong Jianqing was awarded the title of "Gonghua Craftsman" in Chongzhou City.
