On April 1, 2023, Chongzhou will implement bus-based operation and bus-based charging, realizing the full coverage of the "2 yuan pass" one-ticket system for 48 bus passenger lines in the city. Previously, 22 bus lines in urban areas were connected to 2 yuan in 2020, while urban and rural buses and rural passenger transport were tiered prices, ranging from 2 yuan to 10 yuan.

After the implementation of the "2 Yuan Pass", the average daily number of passengers has increased from less than 10,000 to 17,000. The travel sharing rate of buses has further increased, and passenger satisfaction has been further improved.

According to statistics, from April 2023 to March 2024, the cumulative passenger volume of buses in the whole region will be 5.4436 million. Among them, the passenger volume of Chongzhou connecting Wenjiang Wansheng subway entrance with a concentration of commuters reached 1.61 million, an increase of 46.36% year-on-year, the passenger volume of No. 306 from the urban area to Huaiyuan was 956,000, an increase of 9.9% year-on-year, the number of passengers from Jiezi to Gusi was 304,000, an increase of 171.4% year-on-year, and the number of passengers from Huaiyuan to Jiguanshan was 128,000, an increase of 100% year-on-year.
Continuously optimize services to create high-quality public transportation
In addition to the implementation of the "2 yuan pass" one-ticket system, Chongzhou bus operation lines at the end of April last year all installed Tianfutong card machines, effectively implement the "5 + 1" urban bus exchange and mutual brush preferential policies in Chengdu, and promote the full coverage of 183 operating vehicles "Tianfu Pass". The elderly over 65 years old can enjoy 100 free public transportation cards per month, and a total of 28,267 Tianfutong senior citizen cards have been issued, benefiting a total of 1.032 million passengers.
