On March 26, 2024, the "Ba (bā) Ba (bā) Nyonya World - Baba Nyonya Culture Exhibition on the Maritime Silk Road" was grandly exhibited at the South China Sea Museum in China (Hainan). During the exhibition, the volunteer docents of the "South Sea Blue" of our museum have been transformed into "Little Baba Babas" and "Little Nyonya" after passing the pre-job training, assessment and trial lecture.
Dressed in Peranakan costumes, they walked through the exhibition hall with their bright voices and confident figures, the youngest of whom was only 7 years old, enthusiastically telling every visitor about Baba Nyonya culture, which was praised and recognized by the audience, allowing the audience to experience Baba Nyonya culture more deeply in the exhibition hall.
