The main leaders and leaders in charge of Huadu District paid attention to the whole process and held many meetings to deploy the defense work; all member units in the district have implemented the 24-hour leadership and duty system, and the fire and emergency response systems have been jointly on duty. A total of 5,616 emergency response teams in the whole region were dispatched to be on duty 24 hours a day, docking with the six units of the local armed police and preparing to be dispatched to provide support at any time. At the same time, in accordance with the requirements of the transfer of all personnel in high-risk areas such as flash flood prone areas, geological disaster hidden danger points, slope cutting houses, dilapidated houses, beekeepers and reed buds in the embankment, all personnel will be transferred and resettled. A total of 1,325 people from dangerous areas were evacuated in advance (898 people were relocated to relatives and friends, and 427 people were resettled).
At the critical moment, party members and cadres, enthusiastic people, and emergency rescue personnel moved when they heard the "flood" and went up to the rain, staging touching moments. Due to the high intensity of rainfall (the maximum 1-hour rain intensity is 85.9 mm), a total of 15 short-term water accumulation occurred in low-lying road sections and concave culverts, which subsided quickly after the rain stopped, and had little impact on traffic; during the period, the maximum gust of wind was 7-9 and local 10 levels, and a total of 21 cases of tree lodging, tilting, and broken branches were reported, and the urban management and subordinate towns and streets were cleaned up in time; a total of 5 small slopes collapsed slightly in the whole area (Huangzhu Road, Jinzhuang Road, Lianmin Village, Timian Town, and the roadside slope at the entrance of Jinzhuang Road, The first-line Tianjing area section, the slope behind the Li House in Shiling Town, and the roadside of Malian Road) did not cause casualties and property losses, and were enclosed in time. At present, the operation of water conservancy projects in the whole region is safe, there are no serious waterlogging, flash floods, and geological disasters, and no casualties due to disasters.
The general public is reminded not to stay under street lamps and large outdoor plaque advertisements on rainy days. Do not take shelter from the rain under trees. When you have to go out on rainy days, take the initiative to avoid waterlogged roads and stay away from overhead power supply lines and power equipment such as transformers to avoid safety accidents.

At 8 o'clock in the morning of April 21, after receiving the general instruction of the municipal defense, Huadu District immediately set up a leading group for the work of the front-line flood control and rescue headquarters of the Beijiang embankment in the district, and 10 towns and streets and 9 departments responded quickly to build the front-line flood control and rescue headquarters of the Beijiang embankment in Huadu District, and all of them were stationed in the Beijiang embankment at 10 o'clock in the morning of the same day.
