On April 27, 2024, the 4th "National Fitness, Healthy China" National County Football Tournament and Dingyuan County Football League officially kicked off at Dongxing Road Primary School in Dingyuan County. The event was hosted by the China Football Development Foundation, undertaken by the Anhui Football Association, and implemented by the Dingyuan County Education and Sports Bureau and the Dingyuan County Football Association.
The event attracted more than 200 athletes and referees from 10 teams from townships, communities and sports clubs in Dingyuan County. According to the scheduled schedule, the competition will start on April 27 and will be played in 30 matches until the end of May, to determine the first, second, third prizes and a number of sportsmanship awards. The tournament adopts the format of group knockouts, and the winners of the group stage then fight each other to attack the final champion.
After the opening ceremony, the opening match was played between the two teams of Dingyuan County Center for Disease Control and Prevention and Mingxiang Liquor. The two sides of the contest compete for each other and do not give in to each other. The players worked closely together and encouraged each other during the game, constantly attacking the opponent's goal, dribbling, passing, breaking through, and shooting...... The action is chic and engaging. Ten minutes after the opening ten minutes of the first half, the situation on the field changed abruptly, and the Mingxiang Liquor team used a corner kick to open the opponent's city in the scuffle, and there was thunderous cheers inside and outside the stadium in an instant. In the next game, the attack and defense of both sides were more tense and intense, and there were rumors and dangers inside and outside the penalty area. In the end, after a fierce battle, Dingyuan Mingxiang Liquor won a good start with a score of 4:1. The whole game was always filled with a strong atmosphere of "friendship first, competition second", and both sides played in style and level, and the event achieved the expected results.
The smooth development of this activity is conducive to promoting the development of football in Dingyuan, enriching the amateur cultural life of the people in the county, and at the same time creating a strong atmosphere of "happy fitness" in the county and adding strong impetus to the construction of a strong sports county.
