The "pro-Pakistan" protests spread to Europe, and Israel itself was attacked again, but Biden loosened the ties on the Israeli army

The protests spread from the United States to Europe, and Israel itself was attacked again, but at a critical moment, the Biden administration "loosened" Israel and intended to lift sanctions on Israeli forces. What is the solution to the conflict in Gaza?

The protests initiated by students at Columbia University in the United States in support of the Palestinian people and demanding that the US Government stop sending weapons to Israel have intensified in recent days, and have even spread to Europe. At the same time, Israeli soil was hit by rockets, for which Yemen's Houthi rebels claimed responsibility.

Immediately afterwards, it was revealed that the United States was easing its pressure on Israel, not only saying that it would continue to support Israel, but also deciding to abandon the sanctions it had planned to impose on some Israeli forces that violated Palestinian human rights in the West Bank.

Why is this happening? It all starts with the protests on American college campuses. At first, it was just Columbia University students who sympathized with the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip and hoped that the university would draw a line of solidarity with the Palestinian people by the American arms companies that provide arms to Israel.

Instead of responding to such appeals, the school contacted the police directly and arrested some of the protesting students. The incident spread through social media, which in turn aroused the solidarity of students at Yale University, New York University and many other well-known universities in the United States.

Similarly, instead of responding to the students' demands, the schools have stepped up their repression, including the teachers who protect the students. At the same time, American politicians and some Jewish plutocrats have directly coerced and induced students to be "anti-Semitic" and threatened to withdraw from funded universities.

In a word, there is no room for solidarity with Palestine in American universities.

Since then, the protests have grown louder and larger, involving more and more universities, and now they have spread to Europe. According to a number of foreign media reports, student protests also broke out at Sciences Po, the alma mater of current French President Emmanuel Macron.

It can only be said that fairness and justice are at ease in the hearts of the people, and the US government's erroneous stance on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict and the political manipulation by the US plutocracy cannot make the American college students in the ivory tower lose their judgment of the basic facts of the matter.

But from a practical point of view, this wave of protests does not seem to have put pressure on the Biden administration, but has prompted them to be more unabashed on the issue of supporting Israel.

Not long ago, shortly after the UN Security Council adopted a resolution calling for Israel to cease fire in the Gaza Strip, the United States, in order to put pressure on Israel and clarify its position on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, planned to impose sanctions on the "Yehuda Victory Camp" deployed by Israel in the West Bank.

Because on the surface, the United States supports Israel's "self-defense" against Hamas in the Gaza Strip, because Hamas has previously launched attacks on targets in Israel. But at the same time, the United States also claims to support the implementation of the "two-state solution" on the surface, while the Palestinian National Authority in the West Bank, that is, Fatah, which was previously opposed to Hamas, actually supports peaceful statehood.

However, this so-called "Yehuda Victory Camp" has committed heinous acts against civilians in the Fatah-controlled Palestinian territories of the West Bank, where there is no war, and the relevant acts have been judged by the United States itself to be violations of Palestinian human rights.

Of course, "human rights are not human rights" is a tool of the United States, but if the Biden administration really imposes sanctions on relevant Israeli forces, it can at least prove that the Biden administration does not want Israel to expand its military operations in Gaza and cause contradictions between the entire Palestine and Israel.

At the same time, it can also demonstrate, to a certain extent, that the United States is serious about pressuring Israel to implement the "two-state solution" adopted by the Security Council long ago.

But nearly a month later, when college students in the United States were dissatisfied with Israel's atrocities and protested, the U.S. Congress not only passed a bill to aid Israel with $26 billion, but the Biden administration was also exposed, saying that it did not plan to impose sanctions on the "Yehuda Victory Camp".

ABC disclosed relevant information on April 26, saying that US Secretary of State Blinken wrote a letter to US House Speaker Johnson, the general content of the letter is to say that although the United States believes that Israel's "Yehuda Victory Camp" in the West Bank violates human rights, the US government does not plan to sanction the force because "the Israeli government is taking measures to solve the problem."

In the vernacular, although the United States knows that this Israeli force has violated human rights and harmed the lives of Palestinian civilians in the West Bank who have not participated in retaliatory actions against Israel at all, but now Israel says that "they will pay attention to it later," so the United States has decided not to sanction them for the time being in view of Israel's "good attitude of admitting mistakes."

Moreover, Blinken also said that he would ensure that the aid to the Israeli army was fully delivered, which was almost a clear statement that he would continue to support Israel's military operations in the Gaza Strip.

The U.S. decision to lift sanctions comes as Palestinian media reported that Israeli forces bombed two homes in refugee camps in the central Gaza Strip in the early hours of April 27, killing eight Palestinians and injuring more than 30.

It can be seen that the connivance and acquiescence of the United States have led Israel to become more unscrupulous. Today, the division between American university students and the White House elite insisting on supporting Israel while American university students are standing in solidarity with Palestinian civilians further reflects the division in the United States over the Palestinian-Israeli issue.

In the face of such great public pressure, the Biden administration still decided to abandon sanctions against Israel's "Yehuda Victory Camp", ostensibly because Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu expressed strong dissatisfaction with it and put pressure on the US government.

But in fact, the root of the problem lies in the fact that the US election is approaching and the Biden administration does not dare to offend the Jewish consortium that controls the US media and can easily manipulate public opinion and cause trouble for its own election.

The Gaza Strip is in ruins

Furthermore, this is the "shadow government" of the United States, which does not allow the Biden administration to maintain even superficial fairness on the issue of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict, so that the United States will unequivocally support Israel, even if it is against the whole world for this.

The Biden administration's change in stance on the Palestinian-Israeli conflict once again proves that the so-called "peaceful statehood" plan is fundamentally unreliable for Palestine, and Israel and the United States do not intend to give them peace, let alone seriously promote the "two-state solution".

War is bad, but past experience has taught the Palestinians that submission and compromise mean extinction, and only unyielding resistance can they seek a glimmer of hope for survival.
