Lawyers' popularization of the law
Chen Xin, a lawyer from Shandong Futai Law Firm, walked into the campus to explain the harm of school bullying and related legal knowledge, and instructed students how to use legal tools to defend their rights and interests. Through the analysis of real school bullying cases and interactive Q&A, the team members were helped to understand the manifestations of school bullying and how to deal with school bullying incidents correctly, including how to seek help from counselors or parents, and how to protect evidence of bullying.
This legal popularization campaign has enhanced the legal awareness and self-protection ability of the team members. Let the team members understand that when they or their friends are bullied at school, they should seek help from the school, parents or the police as soon as possible, and protect their rights and interests through reasonable and legal channels. At the same time, through the activity, the team members' rule of law thinking was also improved and their behavior was standardized. Only when every student consciously abides by the law and respects others can we prevent and reduce the occurrence of school bullying incidents and jointly create a harmonious and safe school environment.
Actual combat drills
"On paper, I finally feel shallow, and I never know that I have to do it. In order to further popularize the legal knowledge of school bullying prevention and control, and enhance everyone's legal awareness and self-protection ability, the members of the fifth (5th) squadron of Yucai School, under the leadership of counselor Lian Xiaolei, participated in the 2023 "Rainbow Umbrella" Qingdao Youth Moot Court Competition jointly organized by the Qingdao Municipal Legal Committee of the Communist Party of China, Qingdao Intermediate People's Court and other units, and vividly interpreted a case of tort liability dispute about campus bullying.
The team members played the roles of judge, prosecutor, and defense lawyer, and discussed the issue of school bullying through mock court debates. From the selection of materials, script writing, role division, costume preparation, mock rehearsal to the final formal shooting, the team members were hands-on and enthusiastic. Lawyer Chen Xin provided professional guidance to the performance of the team members.
The young actors used their spare time to familiarize themselves with their lines and continuously improve their acting skills. After many on-site rehearsals, filming and post-production, the work was finally presented perfectly, and won the first prize of the Qingdao Youth Moot Court Competition.
Through this activity, the children also experienced the legal process, understood the handling process of school bullying incidents, enhanced their legal knowledge and coping ability, felt the knowledge, education and warning nature of the law, and gained an unforgettable and unique experience.
