On the morning of April 17, Tan Xuguang led a team of Weichai procurement, quality, manufacturing and other experts to Weifang Huafeng Power, Shengxiang Power, Haoxin Co., Ltd. and other supplier enterprises for on-site investigation, and presided over a symposium and exchange meeting of key suppliers in Weifang to listen to the demands of suppliers face-to-face, jointly solve product quality-related problems, and promote the transformation and upgrading of Weichai's supplier system. Yang Shengyan, member of the Standing Committee of the Weifang Municipal Party Committee and deputy mayor of the municipal government, attended the discussion.
Tan Xuguang said that Weichai is the "chain master" enterprise of Shandong's high-end equipment industry chain, and undertakes the important task of leading the industrial chain to become world-class. It is hoped that the supply chain partners in Weifang will take the lead in achieving the four unifications of "product planning, information data, quality control, and intelligent manufacturing" with Weichai, polish products in a down-to-earth manner, scientifically increase R&D investment, and jointly shape the high-end brand image of Made in China in the world.
The eight suppliers expressed their demands one by one and made quality commitments, hoping that with the support of Weichai, they would improve the level of quality system management, information construction and intelligent manufacturing, and grow into a "little giant" with specialization, refinement, and innovation.
Before the meeting, Tan Xuguang and his entourage successively investigated the body and cylinder head line of Huafeng Power, the connecting rod line of Shengxiang Power, and the aluminum alloy and body production line of Haoxin Co., Ltd. to learn more about the manufacturing capacity, quality control, equipment update, and digital intelligence level of each enterprise.
