Recently, the author walked into the Jiupeng Mountain Scenic Area of Changshan Town, Rong County, and in the mulberry planting base, I saw that the mulberry trees were full of strings of purple and red mulberries, and many citizens were shuttling between the fruit trees with great interest, busy picking. In addition to mulberries, more than 300 acres of cherries in Jiupeng Mountain are also ripe. There are many varieties of cherries that are early, medium and late and can be picked from early April to early May. Cherries are thick, juicy and popular with tourists.
It is reported that the Jiupeng Mountain Scenic Area covers an area of about 6,200 acres, and 3,000 acres have been developed, which is the forest health care base in Sichuan Province. Here the ditch is deep and dense, the pine forest is foggy, you can overlook Mount Emei in the distance, you can overlook the Changshan Mountain Range in the near distance, there are all kinds of flowers and fruits, vegetables and trees, such as cherries, yellow peaches, bayberry, strawberries, lychees, dragon fruit and other fruits, cherry blossoms, lotus, danyu, smiling and other precious trees, there are flowers and fruits in all seasons. There is also a forest-themed camping base, with unique charm of stilted wooden houses, camping in the forest, and tea tasting among flowers, which can make people feel a different kind of leisure and comfort.
Due to the complex terrain, Jiupeng Mountain has also become a gathering place for automobile off-road enthusiasts in Chengdu, Leshan, Zigong and other places, and has attracted many automobile off-road enthusiasts to come to exchange and learn from each other in recent times. The person in charge of Jiupeng Mountain Scenic Area said that the scenic spot is exploring a new development model of "automobile + tourism", building a brand of mountain sports and leisure resort industry, and promoting the integrated development of the "agricultural tourism" industry in Jiupeng Mountain Scenic Area.
