This year's graphic communication design direction is no exception:
Literature I
The first bibliography deals with the dissemination of information:
This diagram shows instructions on how to use the aircraft seat belt and how to use other equipment on board the aircraft in case of special circumstances.
This graphical form of information allows readers to better understand and disseminate information.
This kind of graphic communication design thinking of "accurately expressing complex concepts with graphics" has also been applied to scenarios such as IKEA's manuals and instructions for new coronavirus test agents.
The benefit of this is, of course, that it is easy for users to understand key information quickly and easily, but it can be a challenge for designers to simplify the complex.

With the development of the Internet, people's communication on the Internet has also become faster, and various forms of image information carrier design forms have emerged, such as gifs, animations, etc.
In fact, we can all use different forms of images to communicate in different communication media, and designers are also using new information carriers to present their work.

Literature III
Literature 3 mentions the challenges faced by product packaging design in the context of many social issues, such as over-exploitation of resources and aging society.
These problems exist in all aspects of people's daily lives, and in the face of these challenges, many brands have also innovated.
For example, Puma designed the packaging bag and shoebox to be integrated, and Samsung transformed the packaging of its products into pet toys, magazine bookshelves, etc.
Before starting to solve these problems, designers need to first observe in detail, find the crux of the problem, and then "prescribe the right medicine" to propose a challenge-oriented improvement plan.
In fact, this kind of problem-solving thinking path coincides with the theme of international art courses such as Alevel/AP.
Especially AP is an American Advanced Placement course, and if you have good enough grades, you can even apply for college credit directly!

Although I have read four references, I believe you are still a little vague about "how to count as a question for the C2 plane exam".
It's okay, let's take a look at what the previous students of Wenlan Art did!
First of all, in last year's C2 exam, Cody's work with a graphic work got A:
Last year, the official C2 exam theme given by the examination bureau was "Simple or Complex", and one of the references told the "history of the development of the Lacoste brand".
Cody selected this literature and conducted in-depth digging based on her research in the C1 stage:
First of all, Cody has conducted in-depth research on the characters in Joker's movies in the C1 part, and reassembled the dynamic characters by extracting elements.
In the C2 part, Cody found that the logo graphics of the Lacoste brand in the earliest days were actually very complex, and the graphics have been simplified again and again to get the current logo:
As a result, Cody simplified the icon elements he extracted in C1, such as combining the icons with dots, and combining the icons with text, and then made bold experiments:
She first combined different elements and colors, and tried to combine them in the direction of "minimalism" and "maximal".
And the experimental process was integrated into the A-level work, and finally succeeded in getting a good grade of A.

Comparison of high and low scores in graphic design
Bonny, a Wenlan art student, also took the C2 exam in the plane direction last year and finally got a B grade.
In the creation of C2, Bonny continued her theme on "difficulty in choosing" in part C1:
She first used Photoshop to manipulate the characters in the film, simplifying the complex characters and echoing the theme;
Later, Bonny used materials such as watercolor and ink to mimic the PS effect for font production, referring to the practice in the 2023 syllabus literature;
In the final production process, Bonny uses wooden discs and silk threads to represent the astrolabe and her research on astrology, reflecting her exploration and use of materials.
At the same time, it once again echoes the theme of "Simple & Complex".
