On April 25, Huang Bangquan, vice chairman of the state CPPCC, led a team to Pu'an County to carry out research on coal gangue stacking and utilization and held a symposium. Wang Shixiang, chairman of the county CPPCC, and county leaders Wang Biao and Yu Yong participated in the investigation or discussion.
The research team successively went to Hengtai Coal Mine, Anning Coal Mine and Nuodong Coal Mine in Downstairs Town, and learned in detail about the comprehensive utilization of coal gangue, coal gangue filling and land reclamation, the implementation of the system of "coal gangue factory-transport vehicle-coal gangue disposal triple single management", and coal gangue remediation through on-the-spot inspection and listening to reports.
At the symposium, the research team listened to the report on the safety production of coal mines in Pu'an County and the production and stacking and utilization of coal gangue.
The research team emphasized that it is necessary to thoroughly implement Xi Jinping's ecological civilization thought, firmly establish the development concept of "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets", comprehensively sort out, accurately grasp the comprehensive utilization of coal gangue in the county, scientifically formulate plans, take strong and effective measures, and work closely with relevant departments and coal mining enterprises to adapt measures to local conditions and continue to make efforts, comprehensively do a good job in coal gangue remediation and ecological restoration, and promote the high-quality development of the coal industry. Enterprises should always tighten the strings of safety production, firmly establish safety awareness, resolutely shoulder the main responsibility, scientifically, in accordance with the law, and in an orderly manner, pay close attention to all aspects of safety production, effectively strengthen safety production management, and comprehensively improve the level of safety management.
