IT Home reported on April 26 that Huawei launched the first HarmonyOS home data center in 2022 - Huawei Home Storage, which is currently 4TB, 16TB, and diskless versions are 2599 yuan, 4599 yuan, and 1799 yuan respectively.
As part of Huawei's 1+8+N strategy, HUAWEI Home Storage is interconnected with other devices for fast and convenient data access and transfer, as well as automatic synchronization to automatically save photos and files from your phone to the NAS.
With the arrival of HarmonyOS 4.2, HUAWEI Home Storage has introduced app backup and WeChat backup functions, which can be used with phones or tablets running HarmonyOS 4.2 and above to back up WeChat data to the NAS and restore WeChat data at any time if necessary.
Eligible users can fill out a questionnaire through Huawei's official channels, and the beta version of the HUAWEI Home Storage and Smart Life app will be pushed to eligible users (HarmonyOS 4.2 and later).
Huawei also officially reminds that you must upgrade the Huawei Home Storage Synchronization service, and you need to turn off the Pure Mode Enhanced Protection function when upgrading (IT Home has a closed path: Phone Settings - System and Update - Pure Mode - Enhanced Protection).
