In order to further optimize the innovation and entrepreneurship environment in Yuhua District, enhance the awareness of intellectual property rights in the district, consolidate the achievements of the provincial intellectual property strong zone, stimulate creative vitality, and guide the high-quality economic development of the district, Yuhua District recently held the 2024 Yuhua District Intellectual Property Publicity Week. The event was guided by the Hunan Provincial Administration for Market Regulation and the Changsha Intellectual Property Office, hosted by the People's Government of Yuhua District of Changsha City and the Management Committee of Yuhua Economic Development Zone of Changsha City, and undertaken by the Propaganda Department of the Yuhua District Committee of the Communist Party of China (District Copyright Bureau) and the Market Supervision Administration (Intellectual Property Office) of Yuhua District, Changsha City.
The relevant person in charge of the Intellectual Property Promotion Department of the Provincial Administration for Market Regulation said that in order to fully implement the "three highs and four new" intellectual property strong province plan jointly built by the ministry and the province, the province's intellectual property system actively undertakes to overcome difficulties, and new progress has been made in the implementation of intellectual property strategy, and in 2023, three regions in Hunan Province have successfully won the demonstration and pilot cities for the construction of an intellectual property power, and Yuhua District has won the pilot unit for the construction of a national intellectual property strong area, and once again won the title of Hunan Province with remarkable results in intellectual property rights. The transformation and application of intellectual property rights have achieved remarkable results, with 18,062 patent transfers, 8,184 licenses, 2,609 open license patents, and 486 licenses. Among them, Yuhua District has achieved remarkable results in patent transfer and licensing, ranking first among the five districts in the city with 782 cases, fully demonstrating the leading and exemplary role of Yuhua District in the field of intellectual property.
At the event site, the patent achievements from Hunan University, Changsha University of Science and Technology and other universities and four enterprises of China Energy Construction Group Hunan Electric Power Design Institute Co., Ltd., Hunan Xiaoguang Automobile Mould Co., Ltd., Xiangneng Chutian Electric Power Technology Co., Ltd., and Hunan Zhongnan Intelligent Equipment Co., Ltd. carried out a high-value patent transfer and transformation signing ceremony to stimulate innovation vitality and realize the transformation and application of intellectual property rights from a single benefit to a comprehensive benefit. Hunan Chenbo Construction Co., Ltd., Hunan Diya Environmental Engineering Co., Ltd., Zhongke Boyi Environmental Protection Technology Co., Ltd. and Xingneng Electric Power Construction Co., Ltd. jointly signed intellectual property financing projects with Changsha Bank and Everbright Bank, with a contract amount of 33.09 million yuan, which effectively solved the financing difficulties faced by enterprises and improved the popularity and benefits of intellectual property financing.
"Intellectual property rights are linked to innovation and the market, which is not only a protection net for innovation achievements, but also a catalyst for new quality productivity. The relevant person in charge of the Yuhua District Market Supervision Administration (Intellectual Property Office) said. It is reported that the publicity week aims to enhance the public's awareness of intellectual property rights and protection through the extensive dissemination of intellectual property knowledge, further stimulate the innovation and creativity of the whole society, provide more development opportunities for enterprises, and promote the sustainable development of the regional economy.
The event also carried out a display of outstanding copyright enterprises and excellent copyright works, which further strengthened the publicity of copyright work. As an important part of intellectual property rights, Yuhua District vigorously implements the project of developing and strengthening enterprises through copyright, and continues to guide the development of six copyright industry clusters such as film, television, video, and industrial engineering, with 23,382 copyright works registered and 7,959 high-quality works registered in 2023.
