On the occasion of the 9th China Aerospace Day, on April 23, 2024, the science popularization team members of Sichuan Aerospace Chuannan Pyrotechnic Technology Co., Ltd., together with the primary school of Luzhou National High-tech Zone, carried out the "China Aerospace Day" theme science popularization experience activity with the teachers and students of the school, sowing fire, igniting dreams, and stimulating the enthusiasm of students to advocate science, explore the unknown, and dare to innovate. The event was strongly supported and guided by the Luzhou Spiritual Civilization Office, the Luzhou Municipal Customs Working Committee, and the Luzhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League.
At 9:30 a.m., the Vice President of Moral Education made a speech at the event, and the host, the Director of the Education and Science Office, briefly introduced the process of the event and the participating guests. It is hoped that through this activity, the high school students can gain aerospace knowledge and ignite their aerospace dreams.
Immediately afterwards, the students brought a vibrant and creative warm-up dance performance to everyone to warmly welcome and pay tribute to the aerospace workers. After the performance, all the divisions carried out a flag-raising ceremony, and the mainland's aerospace industry rose like a fluttering five-star red flag!
The event officially began, Liu Yike, director of the Science and Technology Working Committee of the Luzhou Municipal Customs Working Committee and former deputy secretary-general of the Luzhou Municipal Government, presented books to the school, and Wu Guoxiong, director of the Propaganda Department of the Party Committee of Sichuan Aerospace South Pyrotechnic Technology Co., Ltd., presented a rocket model to the school.
Then the Young Pioneers wore red scarves for the three young designers and science popularization volunteers who gave popular science speeches, and the popular science volunteers gave detailed explanations and played wonderful videos, so that the children had an in-depth understanding of the development process of China's aerospace industry and various aerospace technologies.
In the face of the students' whimsical and whimsical ideas, the volunteers patiently answered the questions and solved the doubts in the students' hearts one by one, and also gave them more understanding and yearning for the mysterious aerospace industry.
In the small test session of aerospace science popularization, the students felt the process of rocket launch at close range, and the cheers and screams on the scene over and over again pushed the atmosphere of the event to a climax.
This activity broadened the students' horizons, popularized the knowledge of aerospace, stimulated the students' interest and desire to love science, learn science, and explore science, sow the aerospace dream for more children, and stimulate the children's dream of advocating science and soaring into the blue sky and their enthusiasm for learning.
