Did you know that there is also a Yi Autonomous County in Leshan, Sichuan? Ebian and Mabian, these two counties located in Xiaoliangshan District are. The majestic mountains and surging rivers make the natural scenery of this area magnificent. In Ebian, there are Heizhugou, Beifeng Mountain, Lexi Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall...... With the opening of the E-Han Expressway, it is much more convenient to come to Ebian County from Chengdu, and it only takes more than two hours to drive under normal traffic conditions.
Compared to Chengdu, the early morning here is quieter, and there are not many cars and pedestrians. Many shops on this side of the pedestrian street have not yet opened, so let's find a place to settle for breakfast first. Probably because it was still early, the breakfast shop had only been open for a short time. In the early morning of April, Ebian County, which is located in the mountainous area, is still a little cold, and the steaming cauldron makes my heart warm. The consumption here is not high, we asked for two bowls of noodles, a small portion of tamales, a bowl of tofu brain, and a fried ba, which cost a total of more than 30 yuan.
After eating a hot breakfast, I also felt a lot warmer. In April 2021, I also came to Ebian. Compared with 3 years ago, I feel that Ebian County seems to have changed somewhat, but not much. If you are in a big city, 3 years is enough time to change a place a lot. But in some small towns, whether it is the environment, architecture or people's lives, the change is relatively slow, I personally think that this is actually very good, the life without waves is calm and warm. Many people yearn for change when they are younger, but when they get older, they will pursue stability and peace more.
Next, we went to the Lexi Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall, but the time was early and the door had not yet opened. So we waited around the parking lot. In this vicinity, you can overlook the county seat of Ebian, and the rolling mountains in the distance and the jade belt-like Dadu River make the scenery of this small city look quite beautiful. In our Sichuan, there are many such small towns near mountains and rivers, which may not be amazing at first glance, but you will feel its beauty if you look closely.
Some friends asked before, what are the tourist attractions in Ebian. The first thing I thought of was Heizhugou, but I haven't been to that place, but I just read on the Internet that the scenery of Heizhugou is magnificent, and at the same time, because of some unsolved mysteries and a bit of mystery, it is called "Chinese Bermuda" by many people.
The area where I am located has a back-peaked mountain park. It is said that Beifeng Mountain is also known as "Leeward Mountain". One is the peak of the mountain, and the other is the windy wind, with different homophones. According to information on the Internet, the name of the Yi people in Beifeng Mountain is "Niule Beija", which means that they have to work hard to climb to the top of the mountain. Indeed, although the altitude is not particularly high, it is quite tiring to climb. Due to time constraints, I came twice and I didn't climb up. Looking up from below, you can see multiple pavilions connecting the plank road section by section, and I don't know how long it will take to climb to the top. "Infinite scenery is in the dangerous peak", think about it, climb to a high place to see the scenery should be very good.
In fact, standing here and looking into the distance, the mountains like ink paintings in the early morning, and the Dadu River winding between the mountains, are quite a meaningful picture in my eyes. Sometimes, beautiful scenery is not all in the scenic area, as long as you have beauty in your eyes, there is beauty everywhere.
There is another place here that I personally think is worth visiting, which is the Lexi Anti-Japanese War Memorial Hall that I want to visit this time. But unfortunately, I waited here for almost an hour and didn't wait for it to open. More than 200,000 people built the Lexi Highway with more than 4,000 deaths and more than 10,000 disabilities in just over two years under such difficult conditions during the Anti-Japanese War, in the mountains and mountains. In the War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression, not only the Chinese soldiers were fighting, but also the entire Chinese nation was fighting. We can't count how many sacrifices of our ancestors have brought us peace and happiness. So I think this history should not be forgotten.
Later, we also went to experience the Lexi Highway, and I was very impressed by the sections of Lingyi Ridge and Yanwogou. In Ebian County, due to time constraints, we didn't wait any longer and continued to the next target: Dawashan National Wetland Park.
