Soon after, he served as a member of the Liaoning Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and director of the Foreign Affairs Department of the Liaoning Provincial Government. From August to November 1948, he served as a member of the Standing Committee of the Jilin Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and head of the Propaganda Department. Later, he served as deputy director of the Propaganda Department of the Northeast Bureau of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China. He used to be the deputy director of the International Liaison Department of the CPC Central Committee and secretary of the Party Deputy to the 1st and 2nd National People's Congress. Yang Pu, whose name is Bolu, was a native of the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China, and was a disciple of Qi Baishi in his early years and a friend of Mo Zhi. Yang Bolu first learned art from Qi Baishi in the 11th year of the Republic of China (1922). Qi Baishi has a poem "Bolu Seeks Topics with Imitation Shitao Landscape Paintings": "The hook (hook) tree of the mountain has been in the heart for ten years, and the work at the bottom of the pen is deep. Heaven is not jealous of people's reputation, do not forget the compass of the day", and there is a poem note: "Ren Xu Bolu from Yu You, Yu lure his teacher Da Dizi." Bo Lu smiled and said: My master is a compass, "Ren Xu" is 1922, according to which it can be known that at the latest in 1922, Yang Pu worshiped under the Qi family, and under the "temptation" of Qi Baishi, he taught Da Dizi (Shi Tao). Qi Baishi once said in a letter that his fifth son Qi Liang has "wanted to learn landscapes, and in the future I want to learn from my brother, because my brother's brush is like a stone Tao", which is the cause of this.

Qi Baishi once said that "in Yanjing, there are only four or three people who return to each other with poetry and painting", which probably refers to the proud disciples who are also teachers and friends, including Yang Bolu. Take Baishi's proud poems as an example, and often see poems with Yang paintings or Yang paintings, such as the premise of the poem "Title Bo Lu Lin's Borrowing Mountain Map": "Fifty-six pictures are half the world, and my sages have to imitate three out of ten." The real location of the remnant water and the remnant mountain, the operation and the vulgar are too sour and salty", and there is a note cloud: ""Borrowing the Mountain" was originally called "Ji You", and Xiangqi said: Why not borrow the mountain, you can see it big." The original picture has six out of fifty, the former Ding Si (1917) came to Yanjing, and his friend Chen Shi had gone to the moon for more than a month, and returned and lost eight pictures. If you want to make up the painting, I am afraid that it will not be true, so I will stop it. Brother Bo Lu Ren came here, and the inscription was, Jiaxu, Brother Huang, and "Jiaxu" for the twenty-third year of the Republic of China (1934). In addition, Qi Baishi still has poems such as "Landscape of Bo Lu", "Painting Songshan Painting House Picture and Title for Brother Bo Lu", "Painting Pine by Yang Bolu", "Songjiang Landscape Painted by Title Bolu" and "Album of Paintings of Yang Puchun Flowing Shore and Deep Shore by Title Doorman". These poems only reflect Qi Baishi's attention and favor to his disciple Yang Bolu from one side.

In the thirties and forties of the 20th century, Chen Shizeng (1876-1923), who had been the guide of Qi Baishi's art and the leader of the Beijing painting circle, had passed away for many years, and Qi Baishi lacked extensive exchanges with the mainstream painting circles at that time, so Yang Pu acted as an intermediary for Qi Baishi's paintings, such as "painting on behalf of Wanjun" and ordering paintings for the 72nd birthday of Yang's aunt, Mrs. Yang. Qi Baishi announced the updated example to Yang in the letter, and gave Yang a certain initiative: "If you ask your brother to introduce, or you think that the money is too much, you can also follow your brother's discretion." ”

At the same time, Yang Pu, as a jurist, acted as a manager or planner of various matters including real estate for Qi Baishi, who was ignorant of mundane affairs, in a professional capacity, and he also served as the guarantor of his son Qi Liang, who had been enrolled in the Jinghua Academy of Fine Arts to study Chinese painting, as if he was a "small worker" who provided family services for Qi Baishi.

In Beijing in the thirties and forties of the 20th century, Qi Baishi's exchanges with Yang Pu revealed an indescribable sense of loneliness, a sense of heroic twilight, and Yang Pu, who served as his painting promoter and family trivialities, and became his important ally and even spiritual pillar as a fellow poet and painter. Qi Baishi once confided in a letter to Yang Pu about the common troubles of the elderly: "I have been sick recently, or I will not lose my life. The hand cannot be turned backward (backward is painful). The leg cannot stand for a long time (long strength also hurts). The pain that this elderly person should have, not the disease. If you have a heart disease, you may be able to heal. Even the trivial matters at home did not forget to inform: "Because of the sharing of things with the children, the big life is troubled ......" has not been seen for a long time, and Qi Baishi expressed his longing in time: "My brother is far away, if you lose something." May my brother go backwards and ask questions from time to time to comfort each other and not forget each other. ”

When the two visited Jinggi together, although they both migrated frequently, they were almost not separated from each other: Qi's lived in Fayuan Temple, Shideng Hutong, Taiping Bridge, and Straddle Hutong, and Yang Pu lived in Dayangjia Hutong, Ma Zhuangyuan Hutong, Houmaojiawan and other places. The two places are within walking distance, so the exchanges are frequent.

According to the memories of Yang's descendants, in the early 50s of the 20th century, Qi Baishi, who settled at No. 15 Xidan Straddle Hutong, still occasionally moved to visit Zhao Qiming, the widow of Yang Pu who moved to No. 4 Maojiawan (now No. 47) of Xisi Middle School.

Of course, the main interaction between Qi Baishi and Yang Bolu is first of all inseparable from the common interest of the two: calligraphy and painting. Qi Baishi not only sang and reconciled with Yang Pu's poems, as well as inscribed poems for his paintings, but also gave paintings to Yang Pu and his wife is even more common, and the number and quality of Qi Baishi's calligraphy and paintings given to Yang and his wife are far better than those of ordinary friends, and "Bolu" received many paintings of landscapes, such as the Palace Museum's collection of "Rain Inkstone", and China Guardian's 2013 spring auction of Lao She's old collection "Clouds and Smoke After the Rain" , can be glimpsed, and Qi Baishi for Mrs. Zhao Qiming painted a lot of fine works, so that friends and friends see and envy, will always ask the old man Baishi to paint again, so today can see a lot of Qi's calligraphy and painting on such an inscription: "Yu for Mrs. Qiming painted a plum branch, the second quatrain, Brother Leng Guangren saw it, please make it again", "Yu painted a peach for Mrs. Qiming, and Mr. Zhiwu saw it, please make it again", and so on.

It's a pity that Yang Pu died young, and his widow Zhao Qiming's livelihood was in dire straits, so she sold calligraphy and paintings to meet her family. The collection of Qi Baishi's calligraphy and painting has gradually flowed out, which is a pity in his family, but also allows more viewers to appreciate all kinds of Qi Baishi boutiques with the upper section of "Bolu".

This set of Qi Baishi gave Yang Bolu ink pen miscellaneous album or was scattered at that time, and later it was treasured by Li Chuli. Li Chuli (1900-1994) was a native of Jiangjin, Chongqing. This set of albums has a total of eight pages, according to Qi Baishi's two titles, it can be seen that he first sent four albums to Yang Pu, and then painted four albums, so as to become a relatively complete set of albums. Respectively painted two frog dialogue, one rat stealing food, two crabs rampant, two chicks chasing grasshoppers, three fish game, three shrimp into fun, jackdaw scratching themselves, sparrow independence. The paintings are all the subjects he is most accustomed to, but the composition of each opening is extremely attentive, or like a single mouse, with a fat round mouse as the main body, the blank space is bent into an "S" shape with the rat's tail, and the word "white stone" is inscribed at the tip of the tail and sealed, which is extremely concise, or such as three shrimps open, except for three shrimps, the inscription is full of fine and dense passages, but it is not blocked. Painting on the cloud "dense without needles, sparse can run horses", nothing more than this. The pen is fine, although it is ink, but the ink is dripping, the water vapor is dense, and the five colors of the ink are extremely obvious, which is Qi Baishi's careful intention.

Qi Baishi opened the title on the three shrimps: "These four booklets were intended to be given to my brother last year, but they were not found all over, and now they are occasionally obtained in the Korean collection cabinet, so they will be sent." In March (1929), the little brother Qi Huang "and the title on the sparrow was opened: "In the first five years, Ji Si, four small books were examined and given to Brother Bo Lu, and now it is a painting of four pages into a booklet". Briefly describe the experience, and self-inscribed signature: "White Stone Album." Bo Lu Ren Di Zang. Little brother Bai Shi Huang question". On the outermost layer of Nanmu plywood, Yang Pu inscribed himself "Mr. Baishi's album." Bolu Question". It can be seen that Qi Baishi's dedication and Yang Pu's intentions.
