A few days ago, Radar Automobile officially announced that its radar horizon was launched, and the new car can be regarded as a four-wheel drive version of the radar RD6, providing three configurations to choose from, with an official guide price range of 181,800 yuan-221,800 yuan.
In addition, the official also announced the launch of the 2024 radar RD6, which offers two configurations to choose from, with the official guide price of 151,800 yuan and 199,800 yuan respectively.
In terms of appearance, the radar RD6 and the radar horizon are basically the same, and the front face adopts a closed grille design, which is integrated with the stout "RADAR" word, which is connected to the blackened headlight group, and has a strong sense of visual integration. The front hatch is also designed with raised ribs on both sides, which brings a relatively strong sense of muscle.
The lower part of the envelope adopts a three-section design, equipped with relatively large deflector grooves on both sides, and the interior creates a fanged shape, which looks more fierce, the bottom is equipped with a flat trapezoidal air intake, and the interior is decorated with a banner structure, which has a strong sense of hierarchy, and the front lip part is equipped with a silver-gray scuff plate, highlighting the sense of power.
In terms of side styling, the body adopts a double-row pickup truck shape, the roof is equipped with a thick luggage rack, and the waistline adopts a through-type design, which makes the visual effect appear slender and atmospheric, and at the same time enhances the layering of the side of the body; the wheel arches and side skirts are designed with raised black trim plates, which brings a certain sense of strength; and the five-spoke shape of the wheels makes the style appear relatively simple.
At the rear, the blacked-out taillight clusters feature a through-line design that stretches the horizontal visual width of the rear, while the lower bumper is equipped with a chunky black bumper and a silver-grey scuff plate at the bottom to further enhance the sense of power.
In terms of dimensions, the length, width and height of the new car are 5260/1900/1880mm, the wheelbase is 3120mm, and the cargo box size is 1525/1450/540mm.
In terms of interior, the overall layout has not changed, providing a three-spoke multi-function steering wheel, a full LCD instrument cluster, a floating center control screen and an electronic gear knob, the center console has an excellent sense of hierarchy, and the application of soft materials is relatively rich, and the stitching process is added to embellish.
In terms of power, the radar horizon is equipped with a four-wheel drive system composed of front and rear dual motors, with a combined maximum power of 315kW, a peak torque of 594Nm, and a 0-100 acceleration time of 4.5 seconds. The battery pack is available in 73 kWh and 86 kWh versions, with a range of 460 km and 520 km in CLTC mode, respectively.
The 2024 Radar RD6 adopts a single-motor design, with a maximum power of 200kW, a peak torque of 385Nm, a battery pack capacity of 63kWh and 86kWh to choose from, a 0-100 acceleration time of 7.3 seconds and 6.9 seconds, and a range of 415km and 560km in CLTC mode respectively.
