On April 23rd, the library of Yangpu Senior High School carried out a series of exhibition activities with the theme of "Dream of Red Mansions" in Yangpu Library with the theme of "Fangfei April, the Grand View of the World", which set off a wave of reading classics on campus, and allowed students to explore a new way of reading combining paper reading and digital reading through the exhibition of literature and books combined with the film screening of "Learning to Power the Country".
"In the era of artificial intelligence, we need to read classics even more. Librarian Chen Li kicked off the Book Week with a wonderful keynote speech. In her speech, she took "Dream of Red Mansions" as an example to explain that reading classic works can not only allow students to cultivate aesthetic ability, empathy ability and creative ability that cannot be constructed by reading fragmented books on the Internet, but also inherit the humanistic spirit carried by Chinese classics.
The week-long Campus Book Week series of activities was rich and exciting. This event is composed of "Fangfei April, the Grand View of the World" - Yang Gao Library's "Dream of Red Mansions" theme book exhibition, "Book Shadow World" - "Cao Xueqin and Dream of Red Mansions" humanistic documentary screening, and "Han Mo Fengyue" - Yang Gao Library's "Dream of Red Mansions" theme interactive message. At the same time, the activity also carried out the activity of collecting stamps for souvenirs, so that students could enjoy the sense of accomplishment of reading and checking in.
In the book fair of the same name in the series of activities, Ms. Xu Jing of the library explained some basic versions of "Dream of Red Mansions" to the students who came to visit, and led everyone to follow the Red Studies to take a peek at the world of Red Mansions.
Students are looking for the hearts of Cao Xueqin, the author of Dream of Red Mansions, in the humanities documentary excavated in the "Learning to Power the Country" platform. After completing the check-ins, they also left their own impressions of the event.

Zhang Weiting, a teacher at Yangpu Senior High School, told reporters, "April 23 is World Book Day, but reading should not only be on this day, but should be new every day." Nowadays, reading has become a way of life for Yang Gao students, integrated into their daily lives.
