The ten knives of family education, smart mothers don't care.

At the parent-child reading party, I met a special mother whose words touched me deeply. "Did you know that some homeschooling practices are like ten knives that weaken children's self-confidence and independence? She whispered, watching her children play in the corner.

Intrigued, I approached her and asked, "What are the ten knives?" Can you share them?"

She nodded and said slowly, "Such as overprotection, ignoring children's opinions, high-pressure learning demands...... All of this hurts the child invisibly. Her words got me deep in thought, and I realized that it was a topic worth exploring.

That night, when I got home, I sat down in front of my computer and began to organize my thoughts and what I had learned. I decided to write an article about "Ten Knives of Family Education, Smart Mothers Don't Care About It", hoping to arouse more parents' resonance and thinking.

First of all, I described in detail the "ten knives" mentioned by the mother, including behaviors such as excessive interference in the child's daily life, ignoring the child's emotional needs, criticism and comparison of the child. I analysed how these behaviors can have a negative impact on a child's psychological development, such as impaired self-esteem, increased dependency, and a lack of creativity and problem-solving skills.

Then, I turned to the idea of "smart moms don't care about everything". This includes four aspects that parents should take care of: safety, health, basic life rules and moral education. At the same time, I highlighted six aspects that parents should let go, such as not interfering too much with their children's interests, learning methods, and social activities.

I am writing this article with my heart in the hope of helping parents find a balance between not neglecting the care and guidance of their children, and avoiding the weakening of their children's autonomy due to excessive intervention. At the end of the article, I shared some of my experiences and practices as a parent, expressing my understanding and support for all parents.

After completing this article, I deeply feel that I have not only provided reference and ideas for other parents, but also deepened my understanding and self-reflection of my own education style in the process. I hope this article will resonate with more parents and promote a healthier and more harmonious relationship between them and their children.
