CMC can be directly packaged when you buy it, and you can take it out and use it when you need it. It's just that it doesn't look and smell good when you use it directly, and I always feel that it is not as good as buying it.
If you want to buy the same as the one you buy, you can add some coloring and flavor. For example, 50 grams of CMC, add 3~5 grams of pigment (red and yellow), and then add half a pack to a pack of beef carp. If you don't like the carp, add other flavors, such as custard flavor, barley sweet potato flavor, old popsicle flavor, etc., the dosage should not be too large, 0.3~0.5 grams is good.
If you want to make your own sake rice, you must choose millet or No. 4 extra fine corn grits, I recommend using the latter to save money.
