Because my syndrome is the problem of liver depression and yang deficiency, the treatment should be based on soothing the liver and relieving depression, warming and replenishing the life. So I came up with this recipe:
Bupleurum chinensis, fragrant mushroom, tulip, citrus aurantium, rehman, mountain firewood meat, angelica, white peony, cinnamon, boiled licorice.
Fangzhong Bupleurum, Xiangfu, Tulip, and Citrus aurantium can soothe the liver, relieve depression, and promote qi;
Angelica sinensis and white peony can nourish the liver and blood and soften the liver;
Cooked ground and mountain wood meat can tonify, kidney yin, and kidney essence;
Cinnamon can play a role in warming and replenishing kidney yang.
The patient went back to take the medicine as I said, and just a week later, he called me and told me that his symptoms had become a little milder. After taking all the medicines, the patient's symptoms were basically better. In order to consolidate the efficacy, I added or subtracted a few medicines for the patient on the basis of the above. Later, after stopping the drug for a year of follow-up, the patient was very healthy, and it was not soft, but returned to its original hardness!
