The Songjiang District Market Supervision Bureau has recently carried out a continuous law enforcement action of "staggered time and peak" of electric bicycles, and conducted a dragnet investigation on the electric bicycle sales stores in the jurisdiction of Guangfulin Street at night and holidays, and strictly investigated the business behaviors of electric bicycles such as spelling, adding, and modifying, so as to eliminate potential safety hazards.
In this special inspection, law enforcement officers carefully confirm whether the vehicles and batteries sold in the store have obtained the national mandatory 3C certification, verify whether the dealership has lifted or removed the speed limiting device for consumers, and whether there are key components of the vehicle installed or modified. During the inspection, law enforcement officers urged operators to implement the main responsibility for safety, purchase electric bicycles from legal channels, and not sell electric bicycles without factory names, factory addresses, and product standards, as well as batteries, chargers and other accessories.
It is understood that a total of 184 law enforcement officers were dispatched in this round of "staggered time and peak" law enforcement actions, and 92 merchants were inspected at night. During the operation, it was found that some merchants had problems such as the commercial modification of electric bicycles and incomplete purchase and sales accounts, and the relevant merchants were investigated as soon as possible.
