In the six cherry greenhouses of the Taiqian Fruit and Vegetable Planting Cooperative in Xiaoxingwangzhuang Village, Wucheng Town, fruit farmers are shuttling among the cherry trees, busy picking, and their faces are filled with the joy of harvest.
It is understood that the cooperative has planted varieties of cherries such as Meizao, Brooks, Zaodaguo and Red Light, which not only taste good, but also have a large amount of fruit.
During the harvest period, the growers have to pick, grade and pack the cherries every day. Cherries are not only ordered by local customers, but also by online shopping and foreign merchants.
This year, more than 100 acres of cherries of the cooperative ushered in a bumper harvest, which also drove the surrounding villagers to get rich.
