About the Author
Zeng Xiongsheng, born in 1962 in Xingan, Jiangxi, is a researcher at the Institute of History of Natural Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences. His research interests include the history of Chinese agriculture, rice cultivation, agricultural culture and the general history of Chinese science and technology. His main works include Research on the History of Chinese Rice, History of Chinese Agronomy, and History of Chinese Rice Culture (written by You Xiuling and Zeng Xiongsheng).
