On April 21, the 2024 Chongqing Zhongxian County 5th Zhongcheng Cultural Tourism Month kicked off in Zhongxian County, and the "Orange Cup" 2024 Chongqing Zhongxian Three Gorges Orange Township Pastoral Half Marathon also started passionately at the same time, with nearly 5,000 runners participating in the rain.

Since last year, the "China Citrus City" has been full of happy events: the Three Gorges Orange Township Pastoral Complex has successfully created a 4A-level scenic spot, and has been awarded the national "lucid waters and lush mountains are invaluable assets" practice and innovation base; the Three Gorges Citrus Zhongxian Fresh Fruit Distribution and Processing Base (Phase I) has been officially put into operation, with an annual commercial processing capacity of 30,000 tons; the Chongqing (Zhongxian) Modern Agricultural Citrus Industrial Park with a total investment of 2 billion yuan has officially started, which can achieve an annual output value of 5 billion yuan, a tax revenue of 50 million yuan, and provide more than 1,000 jobs after full production.

During the period, Zhongxian County will carry out a pastoral marathon, a tour of millions of workers in Bashu Zhongxian County, the second urban art life season of "Three Gorges Staying in the City, Zhongzhou Alley", the "Zhongzhou Eight Scenes" Cultural Tourism Promotion Conference, the listing of Chongqing Three Gorges Citrus Trading Center, the Zhongxian Citrus High-quality Development Forum, the interactive experience of "Flowers and Fruits with the Same Tree, Xiangyue Orange Sea", the "Travel to Zhongzhou, Happy Life" Shibaozhai Huimin Consumption Month, and the promotion of China Tourism Day on May 19, 2024.
