On the morning of April 20 (the twelfth day of the third month of the lunar calendar), the folk parade of the 2024 Pumiao Flower Po Festival and the 293rd anniversary of the establishment of Pumiao Town officially began in Pumiao Town. Many tourists come to "Nafu".
In 2018, the Pumiao Flower Po Festival was successfully included in the representative items of intangible cultural heritage at the autonomous region level. The folk parade of the Pumiao Flower Po Festival and the 293rd anniversary of the founding of Pumiao Town is centered on the display of "intangible cultural heritage", presenting the rich and diverse folk culture of Pumiao Town to the masses.
This year's large-scale folk parade has set up a total of 28 squares and a special parade team of more than 700 people, which can be said to be a folk culture event with outstanding characteristics, splendid and interactive.
At about 9 o'clock in the morning, with the sound of the big gong in the launching ceremony, the mighty folk parade set off from the Pumiao Town Government along the ancient streets of Pumiao Town all the way to Xinxing Square.
In the parade, the Pumiao drum is the most magnificent, this drum is made in the early 70s, Pumiao folk artists, at that time it was known as "the first drum in Guangxi", it has been damaged several times by wind and frost, and is now successfully repaired and reused.
The phalanx of the flower woman in the team also joined the cute little flower woman to parade together, and the older generation of flower women joined hands with the little flower women to send the blessings of the flower women to the tourists. Zhang Yuezhen, president of the Hua Po Festival Inheritance Cultural Association in Pumiao Town, Yongning District, said that this year, children will play the role of Hua Po in schools in the joint district, implying the inheritance of folk culture.

There are also local folk cultures such as the Pumiao Eight-tone Drum Corps, the Zhuang Wedding, and the Eight-Tone Exhibition in the parade team, creating a joyful, festive and peaceful atmosphere, which is dazzling and overwhelming.
The day's event also included a firecracker performance, accompanied by bursts of firecrackers, and the participants cheered, geared up, and were ready to go. With the "bang" of the main battery, the gun ring in the main gun rose into the sky. Gun grabbers flocked up, have used eighteen kinds of martial arts to compete for the cannons, the scene cheers and shouts continuously, in the fierce competition, suddenly a leader rushed out of the encirclement, ran to the statue of the flower in front of the gun tower held high the flower iron ring, proudly show their victory results.
At the same time, a hundred family banquets were also held to entertain the people and villagers from all over the country who came to participate in the commemorative activities, and thousands of people tasted the special food of Pumiao together to celebrate this grand traditional festival and feel the charm of traditional culture and unique intangible cultural heritage at close range.
