For the past few years, Hughie Fury has been battling illness. In fact, as early as 2016, Hughie Fury's father, the famous coach Peter Fury, claimed in an interview with reporters that Hughie Fury was often so tired that he could only use about 30% of his ability in training because of a skin condition that caused him to suffer from an immune system condition. After 2020, Hughie Fury was infected with the new crown virus many times and could not recover completely.

"I'm sorry, but my previous matches were all outside the ring. But I've always been interested in boxing because it's my passion. My goal is to reach the top of the World Championship, and I never give up on that. Now my body allows me to start over, and it fills me with joy. At the pre-match press conference, Hughie Fury told reporters.

"To be honest, I was also worried that I would have to retire. But the conviction in my heart motivates me to persevere, I don't care about money, I care about honor, because it's a dream that our family values. Hughie Fury told reporters.

"I've been through all the learning competitions. Now that I'm finally starting to find myself, it's time to start removing the rusty body and getting back into these big games. Now I'm healthy, and that's the most important thing. For me, having a consistent game is the most important thing. If I could play every week, I would be okay with that. I want to play as many games as I can and keep the frequency of my games consistent. Hughie Fury told reporters, his tone full of sincerity and eagerness.
