Many places have made efforts in the prefabricated food industry

In the face of the impact and changes brought by prefabricated dishes to the catering industry, various provinces and cities in the mainland are also actively introducing corresponding policies to lay out industrial development. As early as 2022, the Office of the Leading Group for the Construction of a Strong Manufacturing Province in Henan Province issued the "Action Plan for the Development of the Sour and Hot Noodles Industry in Henan Province (2022-2025)", which clearly stated that by 2025, the number of enterprises above designated size in Henan will reach 60, and the overall industrial output value will reach 30 billion yuan.

When it comes to prefectures and cities, the prefabricated food industry has a more specific practical direction, and most of them are based on the development of local specialties. For example, at the end of October last year, the Office of the People's Government of Huizhou City, Guangdong Province, issued the "Several Measures for Huizhou City to Accelerate the High-quality Development of the Prefabricated Vegetable Industry", proposing to vigorously cultivate regional characteristics of prefabricated food public brands such as salt-baked chicken and Huizhou pigeon based on the characteristics of the city. In addition, recently, the Xiamen Food Safety Work Federation of Fujian Province also took the lead in formulating the "Ginger Duck for Xiamen Food" and officially released and implemented, trying to promote the ginger duck of southern Fujian specialties to the whole country at the same time, and formulate standardized food standards.

In addition to the guidance of national policies, enterprises in various cities are also actively following up the trend and are committed to entering the prefabricated vegetable market. According to the website of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, on April 12, the 8th China International Food and Ingredients Expo and the 2nd China International Prefabricated Food Industry Expo opened in Dongguan, Guangdong. It is reported that more than 1,500 companies from more than 20 countries and regions around the world and 31 provinces (autonomous regions and municipalities) in China participated in the expo, and more than 5,000 professional buyers gathered together to discuss the development of new quality productivity and lead the high-quality development of prefabricated dishes. From the perspective of food safety, the hygiene of prepared dishes is a great challenge. Because even if the company ensures the hygienic production standards, once there is a disconnect in the cold chain transportation, storage and sales, it is easy for the prefabricated dishes to deteriorate. In response to this phenomenon, Professor Tang Yong, director of the Food Industry Integration Innovation Center of Xihua University, said that the prefabricated food track of the food industry needs digital transformation to help scientific management.

Coincidentally, according to Xinhua News Agency, at the 6th Digital China Construction Achievement Exhibition last year, the Digital Cuisine Platform launched a special digital full-chain marketing activity for Fujian prefabricated dishes in Fuzhou. It is reported that the digital food union was jointly created by the construction of the domestic industrial Internet platform and service providers, gathering the "ten thousand stoves" into the "one-stop platform", establishing a complete digital ecology of the prefabricated food industry, and integrating the production, supply chain and sales processes of food enterprises, controlling the safety and quality of dishes by digital means, and then empowering the whole ecological chain of the prefabricated food industry and promoting its healthy development.

Recently, China Telecom Xiamen Branch continued to explore the application and practice of 5G + cloud + digital scenario solutions in the food industry, and built the first 5G fully connected factory for prefabricated food in the province for Xiamen Ruyi Sanguo Food Co., Ltd., a leading prefabricated food enterprise in Fujian Province, helping enterprises improve production efficiency while promoting its high-quality development with digital transformation. It is understood that China Telecom uses the 5G private network to carry out digital transformation for the food factory of Ruyi Sanguo Company, so that the whole process data in the product manufacturing process can be effectively collected, supervised and analyzed, providing strong data support for enterprises to control food quality and ensure food hygiene and safety. At the same time, with the help of e Cloud computing power, China Telecom has ensured the stable operation of the huge data flow in the MES system, and truly empowered food enterprises to reduce costs and increase efficiency.

In addition, China Telecom Gujiao Branch, together with the Gujiao Municipal Market Supervision and Administration Bureau, based on China Telecom's "Bright Kitchen and Bright Stove" platform, combined with Internet + regulatory technology, set up Tianyi Vision Link cameras in the back kitchens of relevant catering units to scientifically manage the production process of prefabricated dishes. It is reported that China Telecom Gujiao Branch and Gujiao Market Supervision and Administration Bureau have worked together to create an integrated platform of "Internet + Bright Kitchen and Bright Stove", covering campuses, corporate canteens and urban catering industries in an all-round way. Up to now, China Telecom has added video, e-surfing cloud broadcasting and AI functions to more than 60 junior and senior high schools, primary schools, kindergartens and prefabricated food enterprises in the city, making full use of digital means to form a model management of food safety, solving the problem of difficult supervision by market supervision departments through platform advantages, and ensuring the hygiene and safety of prefabricated food.
