2024 Anyang Marathon Traffic Control Announcement
The 2024 Anyang Marathon will be held in our city on April 21, 2024, in order to ensure the smooth progress of the race and ensure the safe and smooth road traffic of the event, according to the provisions of Article 39 of the Road Traffic Safety Law of the People's Republic of China, it is decided to implement temporary traffic control on the event site and some roads around the race route during the event. The details are as follows:

Traffic control time: From 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 21, 2024, temporary traffic control will be implemented in both directions of the race route. During the control period, all vehicles and personnel who do not have the right to pass the 2024 Anyang Marathon are prohibited from passing or crossing horizontally in the controlled road section.
Race route
(1) Marathon route: Anyang Cultural and Sports Center Stadium (starting point) → Zhonghua Road to the north (turn right) → Wenchang Avenue to the east (turn left) → Guangming Road to the north (turn left) → Wenming Avenue to the west (turn right) → Zhonghua Road to the north (turn right) → Wenfeng Avenue to the east (turn left) → Guangming Road to the north (turn left) → Renmin Avenue to the west (turn left) → Dongfeng Road to the south (turn right) → Wenfeng Avenue to the west (go straight ahead) → Wenfeng North Street to the west (turn left) → Wenfeng Avenue to the west (turn left) → Zhangde Road to the south (turn right) → Wenming Avenue to the west (turn right) → Zhongzhou Road to the north (turn left) → Wenfeng Avenue to the west (turn left) → Taihang Road to the south (turn right). → Wenming Avenue to the west (turn right), Huaxiang Road to the north (go straight ahead), → Huaxiang Road auxiliary road to the north (turn right), → Angang Avenue to the east (turn right), → Ganghua Road to the south (turn left), → Ganghua Road to the north (turn right), → Angang Avenue to the east (turn left), → Zhangde Road to the north (turn left), → Wuqi Bridge to the north (turn left), → Huanbin North Road to the west (go straight ahead), → Shachang Road to the west (go straight), → Yinxu Ruins Museum (the end point).
(2) Half marathon route: Anyang Cultural and Sports Center Stadium (starting point) → Zhonghua Road to the north (turn right) → Wenchang Avenue to the east (turn left) → Guangming Road to the north (turn left) → Wenming Avenue to the west (turn right) → Zhonghua Road to the north (turn right) → Wenfeng Avenue to the east (turn left) → Guangming Road to the north (turn left) → People's Avenue to the west (turn left) → Dongfeng Road to the south (turn right) → Dongfeng Road to the north (turn left) → People's Avenue to the west (turn right) → Zhangde Road to the north (turn left) → Wuqi Bridge to the north (turn left) → Huanbin North Road to the west (go straight ahead) → Shachang Road to the west (turn right) → Yinxu Archaeological Town to the north (turn left). → Yinxu Archaeological Town, turn south (turn right), → Shachang Road to the west (go straight), → Yinxu Ruins Museum (end point).
(3) Happy run route: Anyang City Cultural and Sports Center Stadium (starting point) → Zhonghua Road to the north (turn right), → Wenchang Avenue to the east (turn left), → Wenchang Avenue to the west (turn left), → Zhonghua Road to the south (go straight), → Anyang Culture and Sports Center Stadium (finish).
Scope and measures of traffic control
(1) Control scope: The road section along the race and at the entrance and exit is a traffic control section, and motor vehicles, non-motor vehicles, and pedestrians are prohibited from passing on the road.
(2) During the temporary traffic control period, all roads along the track that cross or can enter the track will radiate outward to an intersection, and all vehicles (including all kinds of motor vehicles and non-motor vehicles) will be prohibited from driving in the direction of the track, and vehicles will be requested to cooperate with the detour at the diversion point.
(3) Concession of passage. Within the scope of the above-mentioned road sections, except for vehicles holding special vehicle licenses issued by the marathon event group, other social vehicles are prohibited from passing.
(4) Vehicles in the control area detour. Units and residents along the race route should arrange the travel time and detour route in advance to avoid affecting normal traffic.
